13. What is the beginning here, that he said, “You have begun”? Indeed, Moses was the beginning in the world, to be completely whole. However, Jacob was whole before Moses, for the tree, ZA, was completed in him below as it is above, since he had twelve sons, corresponding to the twelve boundaries of ZA, and seventy souls corresponding to the seventy branches in the upper tree, ZA. But what Moses had, no other person had, since he was crowned with more wholeness, with several thousands and myriads (tens of thousands) from Israel, with the Torah, with the tabernacle, with the Levites, with the twelve tribes, with the twelve presidents appointed over them, with the seventy Sanhedrin, and he was completed with a complete body, Tifferet, which includes right and left, since Aaron was to his right, Nachshon to his left, and he was among them.
14. This is why it is written, “You have begun to show Your greatness,” from the right, Aaron. “And Your mighty hand,” from the left, Nachshon. This is why Moses was a beginning in the world and not Jacob. And who is the end? The Messiah King is the end, for then there will be wholeness in the world, which was not so for many generations. At that time, there will be wholeness above and below, and all the worlds will be in one coupling. Then it is written, “In that day, the Lord will be one and His name one.”
15. “And the Lord said to me, ‘This is enough for you; speak to Me no more.’” The Creator said to Moses, “Moses, it is enough for you that you have bonded with the Shechina; henceforth, do not add.” “It is enough for you” in the light of the sun that was with you. “Do not add,” since the time of the moon, Joshua, has come, and the moon cannot shine until the sun sets. “But command Joshua, and encourage him and strengthen him.” You, the sun, should shine to the moon.
16. It is written, “And you who are adhered to the Lord your God are alive every one of you this day.” It is also written, “Happy is the people that it is so for it; happy is the people that the Lord is its God.” Happy is the people, for the Creator has chosen them from all the idol worshiping nations, and has elevated them to His lot, and blessed them with His blessing, with the blessing of His name, as it is written, “For they are a seed that the Lord has blessed.” The Lord has truly blessed, the blessing of His name.
17. The Creator gave all the other nations in the world to appointed ministers that govern them. And Israel, the Creator gripped them to His lot and to His share, to actually unite with them. He gave them the holy Torah in order to unite with His name. This is why it is written, “And you who are adhered to the Lord,” and not to another appointee like the rest of the nations.
