1. Rav’s Introduction: We are exactly in a state in which it is the ruin but we also understand that it has to be that way we must go through these states to eventually come to correction because the created being cannot reveal anything if it isn’t against another hence if we need to know the creator we need to know all the points that contradict the Creator, connection between darkness and light and this is how we come to our discernments. Therefore we need to go through the ruin to the correction.

2. S. (04:38) If the Creator does not help him he can’t overcome it, in what does the Creator help precisely, because it’s dust. There’s a feeling that we can overcome in the ten.
R. You can’t, you can’t because you're all vessels of reception so therefore you cannot exit your state, every state we discover ourselves being in we can only exit with the help of the Creator. With the help of the Creator we can attain, we can attain His help only under the condition that we ask and our request needs to be from us all together, well in the ten I mean, from the ten and then the Creator helps, and he also helps not directly but could be that He does to us all kinds of burdening, difficulties, so-called disturbances so that we will see what else is missing for us and connect even more powerfully between us, tighter, and with a more directed request towards Him so that we will ask and that we won’t be able to do it unless He helps us. Eventually we come to such a request that only He can do and only we can demand and in what way we can demand and exactly who, where all these things between us, connection and towards the request from the Creator we ask and turn to Him and demand from Him to help us, so this happens. There are several details here that we need to see as necessary, that we need to connect in our appeal to the Creator and by this we’re actually building the place in which He can reveal Himself.
S. This request that brings to them the building of the place, it’s not a request for losing the taste of dust, something else.
R. Our taste of what we taste is not important for us, good taste, bad taste, dust, sweet, doesn't matter, those are only signs where we are relative to the Creator. Therefore our request is not that we will feel our state as good but rather that we will connect in order to give room for the Creator to be revealed and to bring Him contentment that way and how we will feel is not important for us. Then it works out that the more we advance in the stages, the rungs of the ladder, we actually come to states that are more difficult and less pleasant and more empty from the vessels of reception there, it’s not important, what we want is to come more and more of the vessels of bestowal. That’s why all those so-called sweet things that we thought prior to that, that we were receiving in spirituality, of course we forget about that, we don’t take those into account, reject them, but what we need is only to feel that we are building a place for the Creator, we’re revealing the Shechina.
3. S. (09:19) What’s said in the article that the Creator responds to this request and will give him the power of faith so it turns out that, relative to our common request, the Creator will respond to the power of faith. How is this revealed in the ten?
R. The force of faith is revealed in the ten, it’s revealed in the ten as a force of bestowal where we are capable of relating to one another more in order to establish a place of general bestowal on our behalf towards the Creator and then, according to the law of the equivalence of form, He can be revealed in the relations of bestowal between us.
S. But in general, it’s a general rule that we connect in the ten with something concrete, a question, a concrete problem, we connect it we raise a concrete request to the Creator and relative to this request what is that power of faith that is given?
R. The force of faith is the force of bestowal that’s what we’re asking for, and that’s what we receive from the Creator. For the force of bestowal to be between us, for us to connect by this force of bestowal, this mutual force of bestowal and in this force of bestowal, all together that we’re doing that dwells between us, for the Creator to be able to be revealed and be delighted. This force of bestowal that we're establishing between us is called Shechina and the Creator is called the Shochen, the dweller inside the dwelling, the Shechina.
S. We asked for a problem to be solved for a friend, we asked it through the connection in the ten and connection to the Creator, we have this concrete request.
R. If we have a specific problem in the ten we need to come to a connection between us to scrutinize the extent to which this disturbance helped us connect, to the measure in which it helps us connect we can turn to the Creator and then the Creator, which is connected in us according to the problem of this individual friend of ours that let's say, then it turns out that by this we are helping with the healing of that problem and in revealing the Creator upon it.
4. S. (13:02) What can we do in the ten in order to shorten the time between organizing ourselves for a prayer, for request, and to faith because it takes time.
R. It’s clear that it depends only on us to the extent in which it is intensely concentrated in the work between us, to pray and turn to the Creator, it all depends on us. We just need to understand that nothing happens here from the Creator, it’s a law that He gave and it will not be breached, hence we need to behave that way just like we learned, the relations between us and how they are aimed towards the Creator.
5. S. (14:04) What does it mean by establishing our faith in our hearts forever. What does it mean?
R. There isn't but we can ask for it. The fact that we know that until the end of correction it will not happen so I'm asking, you can ask for miracles.
6. S. (14:30) He says that in the state where he will affix your faith in our hearts forever he comes to the realization that if the Creator does not help him he cannot overcome it. Is that faith that if the Creator doesn’t help him he can’t overcome it?

The Creator prepared in us only those discernments, the feeling of deficiency, deficiency needs to be aimed at the Creator and therefore He shattered us He broke us and in the connection between us we stabilized that measure of deficiency both in quantity and quality by which He begins to be revealed, that’s it.

7. S. (18:30) What kind of suffering is he talking about when we say pray for the sufferings?
R. The suffering that which a person feels, where a person is not in spirituality and from that he has suffering, and he doesn’t know what to do with that.
Excerpt #49 (19:10) “The lower one must first believe that there is an upper one in reality…”
8. R. (20:33) Yes this is something we need to always try and feel what we think of the upper one at any given moment. Where if I don’t think about Him it’s a sign that He is as zero in my eyes, as non-existent. If I think about Him but I'm busy in what’s important for me then I am disregarding Him and not paying attention to Him simply as if I’m in His presence but, and this is not important to me, this is disregard. Therefore it’s very important for us to always measure the extent to which we are truly relating every given moment to the Creator that we are in Him before Him and as much as we can neglect, disregard, distance, move Him from us seemingly, and engage in our engagements, and this way as we distance ourselves in spiritual work on our own, hence it’s worthwhile to forcefully bring ourselves back each time to the presence of the Creator that there’s None Else Besides Him and I'm always before Him, and to the extent in which tangibly I depict to myself that I'm before the Creator as it’s written “I make Him before my eyes”, always in such a way we will be connected to Him and more distanced from the lies, imaginations, and all kinds of forms of falsehood.

9. R. (24:19) In the corporeal sense we see ourselves when we rise relative to the others. Whereas in spirituality we rise as much as we raised the Creator, my ascent depends only on that, meaning to the extent to which the Creator's great in my eyes as much as I annul myself relative to Him as much as I am willing to serve everyone. which is what the Creator put before me, the whole world, this is how I advance, ascend in spirituality.
10. S. (25:33) In excerpt #48 I would like to ask you about the suffering. Can you ask for suffering in order to advance in spirituality?
R. No that’s not good in the eyes of people or in the eyes of the Creator. If you’re already turning to the Creator why are you asking for suffering? You need to ask for the good things, it can’t be that bad things come from the Creator, rather they come in an opposite way inverted because it cannot be the Creator the source of the upper light and therefore you need to ask Him only for what He has, not suffering, not problems, not blows, not disease et cetera only good things.
11. S. (26:47) What can the lower one do for the ascent of the AHP of the upper one?
R. What can the lower one do to cause the AHP of the upper one to rise up? He needs to ask, he needs to appreciate him, he needs to do everything in order to connect to him and to give him the possibility to begin to rise.
12. S. (27:37) In the previous excerpt it speaks about sufferings, in excerpt forty-nine he speaks of the flaws of the upper one. Does he speak of deficiencies?
R. Yes of course about deficiencies, about the deficiencies of the upper one that which the upper one sees, that which the upper one invites in the lower one, what the lower one discovers in the upper one, yes we are always working with these deficiencies.
13. S. (28:28) Question about excerpt forty-nine. What does it mean that he does not feel the taste of dust in the upper one? What does it mean to taste dust in the upper one?
R. The taste of the dust of the upper one meaning he feels the deficiency of the upper one what deficiencies? Well let’s say that the upper one leaves him, doesn’t want to advance him, the upper one is busy with something else he's not operating and caring for him, that’s really a problem when the lower one feels that way.
S. What should the lower one do in this state?
R. In that state first of all connect with the friends and in the connection with them do all kinds of actions of connection by which you will see the upper one as good.
14. S. (29:53) Can the upper one here be replaced from definition by the center of the ten, the wholeness of the ten, can you see it like that is it correct to do it?
R. I did not understand.
S. The upper one, meaning the Creator. Is it correct to say here that the upper one in this case is the center of the ten, connection in the ten?
R. Towards a person, it could be yes.
S. Is it lacking or is it correct to say like that?
R. If a person could look at it that way it’s good, by that certainly a person, the group, and the Creator. This ladder exists.
S. So here he sees flaws in the upper one and perfection in the upper one, he doesn't see the ten as a whole thing?
R. Yes and it’s because he doesn’t see it because he’s not whole.
15. S. (30:59) According to what is written it should pain a person for seeing the flaws of the Creator. Does it mean that a person should also feel pain from seeing the flaws in the friends?
R. Well of course if me and the friends are one body and we will soon discover this that we're not just dependent on one another so that each one will rise upwards but rather dependent on one another so that the Creator will clothe us, find us and we will feel ourselves as part of the same soul and closest within this soul we are the closest from all the rest of the parts and this is how it will be revealed from above like it or not. That’s why we need to relate to the friends this way.
16. S. (32:13) How to convince the friend, or help him see that specifically in the connection we have the greatness of the Creator if the friend does not feel taste in it?
R. Help him, give him an examples, awaken him just like we talk about all the time. That is it. Try with all your forces to awaken him, Connect with him, embrace him, read with him together, talk between you in his presence. How we need to respond and come to connection with the Creator and what is happening when we come to connection to with the Creator. Try.
17. S. (33:30) How can one increase strength of faith when one is suffering and is not able to do anything so that he can feel the Creator?
R. Only through awakening through the friends. He can read, he can hear all kinds of lessons of ours, even songs. He can awaken himself, but the most beneficial is through the connection with the friends. Try all kinds of such means in order to recover. Hear something, read something, sing songs; we have many songs in the site archives, and awaken that way. Rabash would enter the room on his own and just start singing himself and even dance, and he would not feel any emotion in it, nothing but would simply mechanically do that, jump and sing, and I'm talking about a seventy-year-old or 80-year-old man do to do that. Then he would emerge from the awakened. I saw his eyes and how bright they are. In this way again he advances.

R. Is that called divinity? I did not understand your question.
S. A person has to go from his perception of the great one, the upper one, but he cannot call an upper one into the ability to work with qualities, what enables this transmission?

You’re aimed toward the goal, you want to reach the goal, so you don't care if there are sufferings or not as long as you are advancing. Do you understand? It is like a sick person that is being taken to an operation. So does he take into account the suffering? He has to take into account being healthy because otherwise he will die.
S. In the last two excerpts, 48 and 49, there's a very strange sensation that there are two states that are opposite, and I can see either one or the other, but the goal is for them to exist simultaneously and I'm oscillating between two states, and what will I choose something here?
R. In every given state you have to choose something that is closest to the Creator, period, and not to take into consideration whether you are feeling good or bad, understand or don’t understand; what is closest to the Creator.
20. S. (39:30) Why does the upper One who is good, whole, and perfect, why did He create this lowly reality of poverty, of destitution? Why do these qualities exist?
R. So that from this reality we will be able to reach the highest degree so that we will understand what our nature is and how from this nature of reception, of loneliness, degradation, nothingness, we come to the highest degree, to the state of the Creator.
S. Why in this way of lowness? I understand there's an upper one and the lower one but why in this state of seemingly zero, like you said, of lowness, of poverty?
R. In truth that is our state, this is our state relative to the degree of the Creator, the Upper degree of the Creator, of bestowal, we are in loneliness, this despicable state, and we have no way to advance. Only to ask. Not that we wish to come out of this bad feeling but that we wish to be come to a mutual bestowal for everyone, and then we begin to rise out of our state.
S. What does that mean? What is the mutual bestowal between everyone? Does it take us out of the lowliness?
R. Mutual bestowal between everyone takes us out of loneliness and reveals the Creator between us. Mutual bestowal between everyone means that we are building Shechina, the Divinity, a place for the relation of the Creator as the one who dwells in this feeling.
S. Then there's no longer loneliness?
R. Of course there is no loneliness. We begin to value this entire process that we are going through. The fact that the Creator created between us the feeling of lowliness it is the truth, it is correct for those qualities of ours, but we have to reach a different state, that we will be in bestowal, in mutual support and relate to each other like to the Creator. This way we come to the degree of the Creator, but this is a totally different nature. It is the nature of bestowal, of connection.
S. So how is it possible, it does not seem logical that from lowliness, from this despicable state we can come to such a high state that is being described.
R. Yes, I understand you, but that is how the path is. You are going through the first state, the first true descent a feeling of recognition for the first time of your nature which is entirely to receive and not to bestow which entirely wants to feel good in these vessels of reception, and so on and so forth that is what he feels. It is very good that you feel it. It is a serious blow that the person feels in life, and after that he has got time for work, to connect with everyone, he can work on bestowal between everyone in corrections, but for the time being he sees that he has nothing, he is a zero, he is here in the dark, he has no future and so on and so forth; he's helpless.
S. So what is the advanced for friends that feel that way?
R. To connect and to help support one another, and to [ no translation…]... because what you feel is what you feel and there is the matter of feel and there is the matter of not wanting to be above that feeling. We are all dependent on that feeling. The will to receive does not depend on what illuminates it does not illuminate so we are in a down. We want the rise up again so how do? If we connect a little bit more to us then we will be closer to the upper light. If we do that to the upper light then we will be in equivalence and then He will be closer to us.
21. S. (46:00) You said that a person should not care if he's suffering or not as much as if he is advancing but what should one do this when one sees did he is not advancing and maybe even getting worse, what is the advice?
R. Come to the friends, grab him, just a mother is grabbing him, and then this will exit all of the diseases, all the problems, the descents, anything. Only through adhesion to the society.
S. In the society, in the ten each time I attend it feels like I'm in the cage and I cannot touch friends, I cannot reach their hearts. I'm in the cage, I am stuck, and I'm full of anger. R. For those who want to know where they are, a person that is in bestowal he doesn't want to know where he is, he wants to advance, don't tell me anything. You understand, and then he advances. 24. S. (57:13) It is written that every moment needs to be scrutinized, clarified, and connected in the form of the Shechina. How do we calculate and scrutinize every moment?
R. this I cannot tell you, this is according to experience, each and everything should be scrutinized, should be added to what was there before. The important thing is to prepare the ten, the group in which you can discuss and talk, and you can see where the more truthful form is, where is it less, and so on and so forth.
S. It is written that all the descents are in order to bring sparks of the Shechina, how do we scrutinize them from the descents?
R. We do not appreciate the descents, I'm not saying that we should appreciate the descents, rather we extend the descents and that is not good. We should come out of the descent as quickly as possible; it is enough to be in it for only a moment, not more than a moment, and then to be in the ascent and try to be in the ascent as much as possible. Connect to the ascent more and more and more and if we can do it, we will add all those small, short descents immediately to the descents and that is how we climb, and there's nothing more to do than to understand that we need to go through these two states and the sooner we go through them, the faster we will get to the correction.

R. These are desires to bestow that we can locate between us. Holiness means bestowal, connection, love, support, anything that comes out of bestowal.

R. It's not in our hands, we simply need to go forward according to what was given to us and then we'll make it. There's nothing to say, only to advance and then don't think that it's so much rather it all depends on the effort between us.
S. What should we pay attention to more, the quality or quantity when it comes to the collection of the pennies?
R. On the pressure that we wish to reach bestowal outside of us.

R. I didn't understand.
S. There's a very strong feeling from this excerpt, like this person has this work, this orderly work that he has to do to serve something greater?

This addition, because the Creator weighs it against that connection that you have to have with the group if with the fall that you receive if you connect to the group you are able to rise with that heaviness that fell on you. If a person is working on the path of bestowal doesn't feel ascents and descents, he feels those states but for him it's always an opportunity for advancement, the descent is also an opportunity to advance.

(01:06:47) I heard something new from you, we always said prior to this that we need to yearn for as many changes, in changing states, like you told us about that many Kabbalists went through this also Rabash, Baal HaSulam. Now I heard that we seemingly need to be longer in ascent than in the descent and kind of remain in the ascent and try to remain there or did I not understand it correctly?
R. It means that even the descents I don't consider the descent as a descent but an ascent.
S. So where are the changes if so if possible?
R. The difference between the two is only in how much I appreciate the current state, the fact that the Creator is now adding to me a will to receive, I feel that the burdening of the heart. I accept it as an opportunity for work, it has to be a joy for me, gladness, an ascent to a higher spiritual degree the next degree.
30. S. (01:08:26) What does it mean that a person goes down to scrutinize more sparks of sanctity, does this depend on me or does the Creator bring me these states?
R. it depends on how ready you are, if you're not ready they won't let you feel it.
S. Meaning the scrutiny is always my attitude towards the ten or is it scrutiny between us all the time?
R. The scrutiny is general, as much as you are ready to accept additional broken sparks in order to raise them for correction, to correction.
S. How not to be dependent on my current state and feeling?
R. Condition this feeling of the Creator's bringing it to you to correct it, so it's not the feeling that should dictate it to you but the purpose of creation, if you don't think of yourself but the Creator then the descent should not influence you but only be is an opportunity to bestow more.

R. Yes of course, of course to despair is what he feels in his usual vessels of reception but together with that he understands that this despair brings him to come to a higher connection with the Creator.

R. He is in those feelings as well.
S. So we don't have to search how to cancel those feelings?

The advertising for it, a woman is lying on the chair, and they inject her all around, she's not moving, nothing. I can't imagine that she is enjoying it but at least she is making a calculation that it's worthwhile for her to tolerate these injections to become more beautiful. So it all depends on the appreciation, look at what's happening in our will to receive, how much, how capable it is, many surgeries, people do, women have them, men have them and they suffer but they go for it, they pay a lot of money for it, so what's the problem.
S. I don't know those kinds of operations.
R. You're not going to go?
S. No maybe in a couple of years but those surgeries maybe some kind of local anesthetic?
R. No, I don't think there's any anesthetics there.
S. So I would want an anesthetic to put to sleep that part that's burdening me and then to feel the importance?
R. Only through importance, nothing but that if it's important I can bring myself to a state where I won't feel pain but actually pleasure that I'm being injected and I don't feel pain but pleasure, why? Because I care about the goal and I'm thinking about it now and I'm in it, it all depends on what I appreciate more.
S. My expectation that I won't have suffering, I should have that state?
R. Yes, it all depends on how we weigh, evaluate what we're getting and versus what you're losing.
S. How during the suffering not to curse the Creator?
R. Come to a state where you bless him, praise him just as we discussed it.
31. S. (01:15:11) How is the feeling of the Creator realized after the obstacles, and falls, again through obstacles or through joy?
R. Joy, it becomes a great joy, specifically these obstacles become a source of joy.
32. S. (01:15:49) I heard that if I feel a state of a descent of lowliness I should uplift above those states, what is that place to which I should climb?
