Part 1:

Rosh Hashanah - Selected Excerpts from the Sources. #10

1. Rav’s Introduction: We need to do this introspection, this discernment whether we have this purpose, whether we are going to get all of the forces of nature that are in it, so we need to examine ourselves how we are connected to all the conditions that we are in. We cannot disregard anything and everything because all together we are in the system of forces and therefore to the extent that we try to be in balance with them, in harmony with them, in the right connection, accordingly we will probably feel them more and understand them more and exist in the desirable state of the general correction of a person in this world. We are in the network of force and this net operates on us from all sides and to balance all of these forces is actually our profession, to be an Adam, one who resembles the Creator by which both the good and the bad, all of those forces we balance inside of us, stabilizing us such that we are all operating in the right balance. there's no bad without good and good without bad, there's no light without darkness and no darkness without light.

Rather everything needs to be balanced, diversified and this is what we need to find hence this is written There Is no greater joy between them the day when the Heaven and the Earth were created, the Creator wanted it so that there would be both Heaven and Earth, Darkness and Light. As these two help one another to interpret, intensify one another and that's why we see that there's no one without the other and we exist between these two contradicting forces. We can use the two of them in order to understand the depths of creation and then from that we  attain the plan, the purpose of the Creator. Why he did it this way and we can thank Him for all that he thought and prepared for us. For the time being we need to go get to know these two forces how they are and in what form of imbalance they are in and how to bring them into balance through us when we are actually between these two forces.

Excerpt #10 (03:49) “Rosh Hashanah is the time of judgment, when people are sentenced…”

2. R. (05:25) Meaning after we have been through something, probably, in the previous year, we come closer as a result of it to the day of judgment ,to the time of judgment, Dinim, where are person is judged for what he had, no, but rather but for what he is drawn to, either to the good or God forbid, to the bad. This is what he is judged for, meaning at this given moment how are you arranged, what your heart inclines towards and from this place, from this tendency that you are drawn towards, you will probably enter a new year, a new period. According to your tendency and a new year will come out of it, therefore these judgments are actually corrections which correct a person so that he will not, will not go in the wrong direction in the future. As he says and the root and the head from which he arranges himself then extends according to the essence of the row and arranges his life that way, hence he should be judged and aimed so that he will go correctly in the good way. Therefore all the things that are now depicted in the person, being clarified, and disclosed in the person, are arranged in such a way so that he will go straight, correctly into the purpose of his life and not get confused along the way. Hence this place, this state is called Rosh Hashana, that together with the fact that he is judged he receives a more correct direction and through these directions he continues his correct life.

3. S. (08:08) What does it mean that there's no judgment above and judgment below, he writes here that the branches stem from the root.

R. We feel this way on ourselves and also above, this is something that we are yet to be scrutinized, the truth is that you are right there is a question here but the question is more not the fact that there's something above and below but rather it is closer to us, the question right now for the time being. How can we feel that we are in the place of judgment where there are limitations, those pressures, conditions, and we need to arrange them such that they will all take us from all sides from the head and the heart and I this correctly to the purpose of creation. Where the main thing for us is to be aimed correctly in their lives.

4. S. (09:29) Who justifies the person is it the Creator or the person himself?

R. All the plans and all the rules, all the ways by which a person needs to reach the purpose of creation, the purpose of his life, are certainly all defined and decided in advance. There is nothing in them, but relative to us it is revealed so that we will learn from it, like little children that are constantly stumbling upon all kinds of problems and from them they learn how to correctly stabilize themselves and that's it.

Define himself comfortable in that situation, that is how it is. But the beginning and the end of creation was decided upon and the line between them for each and everyone they exist and there is nothing new under the sun but it is all there and revealed only towards the person in order to teach him how to go and walk on the correct path, on the straight path. Here we see that each and everyone in his life in every single moment errs and he has to err because without that he will not learn, without that you will not receive a new record every time which is correct, compared, relative to the one that was there just before and therefore this is how we advance.

The root to all of this advancement is Rosh Hashanah where we receive and take upon ourselves the advancement towards the correct goal, the next day is, maybe you might disappear from us, who knows it is all in the hands of the Creator, from above. but we want to advance this way, each time we will go in such a way that the right and the left will give us in balance the middle line, for us to take as much as possible the forces of giving, the forces of connection, between us and the group and according to that take as much as possible from our vessels of reception that will be balanced with the vessels of bestowal and this way we'll make a little more and a little more and a little more.

5. S. (13:00) It says the person himself is the judge and the executioner, so what does it mean to the person judges himself?

R. There is no one in the world that does something rather it is all taking place in the person, also the Creator is called come and see, Boreh, where you discovered certain discernments in you which they are called come and see, the Creator, also the good and the bad things they are all within the person, the person includes everything within him. Hence, when he stabilizes himself correctly in reality then everything is incorporated in him. This is how he needs to accept reality and manage himself this way where all of reality is existing in the right direction by him and all of it in that way.

S. What a person does not have any control over his desire, cannot change his heart?

R. He will learn from time to time, he will learn and the main learning is to know how to sustain himself correctly in order to not fall like a little child who falls every single step of the way, so he needs to hold on to society. Hold on to the group and although they are like babies and cannot stand on their feet but if they hold on to one another, then they can to some extent, to some stage under certain conditions can stand up and not fall because they're holding on to one another. As much as a person subjugates himself, makes the friends greater in his eyes then he holds on to his friends as the great one, then he does not fall, just like a child to hold on to the big one, the adult and by his Garment and holds himself up and he does not fall.

6. S. (15:33) You said that a person makes a mistake every second of your life and he learns from that, we make mistakes and we see that is how life passes?

R. There's no point being sorry because you will not move forward without a mistake because we are emerging from the evil inclination to the good inclination and also in the good inclination we can't be but rather in the connection between them, in the balance between them. Therefore a person does not make a step forward unless you make some mistakes first, the mistake, the error is an integral part, a correct part from all of life, for all of our advancement.

S. What do we learn from the mistakes? I make a mistake, I make a mistake, in the next second I will make another mistake. Between one mistake and another, what am I learning?

R. You learn slowly, slowly, that through your intellect and you're feeling through the heart you cannot aim your life but rather your entire life will aim you correctly if you will be connected with the friends. Otherwise you were like a child who falls down and you can’t get up and you cannot pick yourself up. We need to come to a state and I hope we get there soon, then if I'm not connected to the group then I am not, then I cannot stand, I cannot aim myself correct, I am confused, also in my intellect, in my feelings, my inner and external forces. I must constantly hold on to them truly like a baby that is holding on to the grown-ups otherwise he finds himself down on the ground.

7. S. (18:01) What is the judgment that a person is judged for exactly?

R. He is judged whether he is aimed correctly towards the purpose of life. That’s it. The component of this is whether he is connected to the ten, does he want to be in the center of the ten, does he annul himself before the ten, does he raise his ten as much as possible from all that he has? And then in such a way he has what to grip on to, and certainly within them they are like a supporting system, like an armor, like anything that is superior to him and bigger than him, and in them he advances towards the purpose of creation. What is the purpose of creation then? that they will all connect together as one man in one heart in a complete manner.

S. If There Is None Else Besides Him, what exactly is he charged about? What calculation does he do now of something that is already done?

R. None Else Besides Him is a law, law; that all the good and all the bad, all the darkness, light, all the states, all the forces of nature are balanced. And the person needs to come to the observance of this law because just to say None Else Besides Him, is like you’re pointing your finger to the heavens.

S. I need to make a calculation, is there a judgment of what I have not done before?

R. Not quite. The main thing is right now. What do you, right now, at this moment want to do? How are you balanced at this moment with all the forces that you imagine that you exist in?

S. So the judgment is for the present not the past?

R. The judgment is for the present.

S. It says that we have to determine a root, to become a Rosh, a head, the beginning of the year, according to what does a person establish the root in every given moment?

R. According to what one defines his root? Our root is the Creator. We don't know how to describe the Creator unless we build a form, a mold in the group in which we are all connected together. All our forces, our different forces, contradictory forces, and as much as we can connect them together this form gives us a quality called Boreh, Creator. Closer to that we cannot be. We cannot be closer to Him more than that for the time being, but to the extent that we connect to one another more and more we will be able to locate this form, this concept that is called Boreh, come and see, more and more.

S. Rosh Hashanah, the beginning of the year, every moment the person is at that state of define anew?

R. Actually, yes. But we are talking about the fact that it is decided one time, and we will learn later how to advance it, and again and by that we have days, weeks, months, and years too. We are yet to learn that.

8. S. (21:57) How much the advancement in spiritually the judgments are canceled?

R. It is constantly changing. We need to always adjust the judgment because what was previously Judgment could be Mercy now. This is something that we need to, according to our changes these concepts change as well, of course.

9. S. (22:47) It says that a person has to judge himself, he is the advocate and the plaintiff so when it says that we need to judge favorably, he's asking for correction and if not he does not ask for correction?

R. That is in accordance with how he judges himself. That I cannot tell you, that is according to how a person wants and how he wants to judge himself. That already has to do with the trial.

10. S. (23:34) The Creator establishes the reality for a person through his will to receive and a person asks and checks and scrutinizes and turns to the Creator in prayer on what he thinks is correct, then he discovers that everything he is asking for he is asking for himself, it's like the game is not so fair on the part of the Creator?

R. The fact that it is not a nice game on behalf of the Creator, I don't know, you might be right. I know only one thing that everything is measured according to the goal; the goal of bringing a person to perfection, to adhesion with the Creator and there is no state that is more whole than this. And, when we see along the way as many falls, flaws and even pain, things that are not straight this is all everyone negates according to their own flaws. Hence we need to see what the kabbalists advise us and do it, and then we will see with time that there is none the wiser than the one with the experience and how we advance through this. At the beginning of the path of course we cannot judge correctly; that is why it is written “everyone who judges does so in their own flaws”

S. So what is it that the person determines in Rosh Hashanah, at the beginning of the year?

R. If a person is already in the state that he wants to advance towards the purpose of life and understands his line somewhat then he stretches himself from the state he is in now to the state that he is depicted to himself as to what life is and tries to at least make a step forward. This is called Rosh Hashanah, the beginning of the year.

S. Then he discovers that he is in a lie.

R. What I will discover a minute later I don't know right now. I know that now I'm discovering a new beginning, and I'm not smart like you to discover what's going to happen to me in my next state. I haven't been there yet. I believe what I learn from our teachers that nevertheless the Creator manages our advancement and I'm in his hands and therefore I advance in what I can at the moment and like that every single moment. You cannot do it any other way. In all the processes even technology and mechanics and every system that you want, it all exists by the fact that step by step we can advance and see, and if we calculate a few steps forward it only points to our stupidity; that you don't yet have the intellect or the feeling of the next state and you’re judging what will be few steps ahead. You cannot do that.

S. How do we come to the middle line?

R. We did not talk about the middle line, why are you pushing that on me? We do not have one line yet that is what we are talking about now.

11. S. (27:40) What does it mean to judge himself? How do you do it?

R. That’s forces of judgment that a person evokes in himself and sees himself to the extent in which he followed the forces of nature, which are the forces of the Creator, forces of bestowal, according to his degree and as much as he's capable whether it worked or not, and judges himself.

S. Where does a person have the power to awaken this Judgment on himself?

R. Only by the society, that he’s looking at his friends and envying them, and he sees that they can do it and change themself and he cannot. Only through society, if not for the society then he would sit quietly because it’s the most comfortable for his body and the body always wants to let him remain that way, but we are all advancing, we just can do more and each in an active manner.

12. S. (29:14) In the judgment in addition to the blaming there's also justification, what are we talking about?

R. No there's both this and that and the middle line and several stages in that discussion that a person performs inside of him in this trial that he performs inside of him, we'll get there you’re right. We will talk about all the forces that are operating but not now, for the time being he's talking about like the heading, the judgment that the world is judged.

S. When I judge something that’s outside of me by the friends by the world, I nevertheless I judge it inside of me, it's me. What kinds of objects or parts of me are outside of me but I don't understand it.

R. No, no, no, you’re depicting the situation completely wrong, what does it mean that I’m being judged and all that, no I am judging myself meaning I have two contradicting forces and I want balance between, I'm not canceling one out as a result for the sake of the other or the other for the first one, I want to be included in both in a correct balanced way, both in judgment and mercy. If it’s only mercy I can’t advance if only judgment I can’t advance, I need both of them for them to work like in the wheel when this one goes up this one goes down, just like that, and for that to work that way, well and some other way we can describe it but that’s the main thing. These two forces need to be balanced and to constantly support one another as well even though they are contradicted and to support, it’s by a person who is between the two of them and somehow knows how to get along in two of them together in both together, that’s what we’re learning.

13. S. (34:46) What is next after I as a judge ask myself if I'm okay with the friends if I appreciate them and I get a negative answer, what do I do next to carry out the judgment?

R. Because I'm probably not in connection with the friends all that remains for me is to pray because I don’t have the forces to advance with because all our forces that we advance with are only towards the center of the ten where we will truly be in the ten like in a ball, in a sphere, and then in such a way we will be able to feel the forces that operate upon us that we are in the center of the ten beginning to feel the upper force which controls and manages us and this way we will advance more and more towards the goal, that’s something that each can depict to himself and be in this, advance in this all the time.

14. S. (33:10) Does the root make us go through many conditions to make us similar to itself?

R. Yes we certainly from the root of each and everyone for the root of one’s soul he goes through all the stages until he reaches the goal, it’s all already in the root according to the Reshimot the records that exist in the root of his soul and each and every one executes this, it’s like the genes inside some biological component all according to these records and all we can do is define the pace of advancement as much as we agree we save ourselves from blows and advance towards the goal with the force, the good forces, all together this is what we can do.

15. S. (34:29) Hesed, is it always in absolute judgment no mother no matter how tough is the situation?

R. Actually yes but that's something that we yet have to learn.

16. S. (34:51) What do I determine here, there’s a Creator there’s no Creator. I divide between creation and the Creator.

R. I don’t know philosophy I just know one thing that there’s a force that operates all of reality and it is the upper force the Creator, it doesn’t matter what you call it and we need to come to a state in which it controls us and that we will be made of the forces, thoughts, desires, inclinations of His where all that we have that is shattered after the sin that the Creator prepared for us to start with, for us to arrange all our inner systems and external systems, meaning in relation to others, until we feel all of reality as one system one complete system and then we will attain the truth.

17. S. (36:03) What is the correct balance between the two forces, the good and evil, the personal ones relative to the ten?

R. It’s written about that, that a person needs to incorporate these two forces, the force of good and bad, and for the bad to be incorporated and connect into the good.

18. S. (36:34) The judgment does it help us to understand the direction we should take or does it also include punishments and rewards?

R. The judgment takes us to understand where we are according to the solution according to the truth and then we start to perform certain calculations and actions with the friends and in prayer to the Creator. There’s an order of actions that we need to get accustomed to doing even though they appear each time as new but we will get used to doing them, where we feel that we’re not in the right place, we’re scrutinizing why, what it depends upon, how we draw these assisting forces and how we help one another as one will help his friend, no one can correct himself but only through the others and this is how we connect. It’s truly like each supports the other only in such a way, otherwise it’s impossible. It's a system that must be a closed system, all of it, and then in it we feel the mutual force which is the Creator.

19. S. (39:12) Where does a person get this confidence that his point of judgment is correct that it’s true judgment?

R. It’s from the results that these two forces are balanced in him, through that he sees that it’s the truth. The truth is the result of these two contradicted forces, truth Emmet is the name of the Creator that’s ready the revelation the feeling that is disclosed to a person.

S. We have to prepare to check this judgment, this point?

R. We need to perform a preparation of course but along the way we prepare ourselves for this, yes.

S. If a person is saying I'm going to check the point of judgment I'm going to.

R. No, no, no, not in such a way but rather he's integrated from all of these forces and he scrutinizes one relative to the other, it’s a mechanism of inclusion of forces and conditions and from that he becomes wiser, and each time builds every single moment in a new way. A person himself who is a person, he’s the result of the balance of those forces in him and at any given moment, and this is how he judges himself, judges the Creator, and then comes to a state in which he feels where his truth is for the time being.

S. Before a trial you hear the prosecution, the defense, you check then you make a decision, also an internal trial. What kind of preparation should a person have to be certain this is the true judgment that it’s correct?

R. As connected as much as possible to the society. Here really the Creator didn’t just like that shatter the system of Adam HaRishon where there’s always before us the goal, nearby, close, understood, attainable, that we can grip it like a little child that we can hold onto it and not fall, it’s to be in the society as much as possible holding on to it.

20. S. (41:42) How can we determine the truth from the vessels of reception?

R. As much as possible try, it’s simply working with all these qualities in the society as much as you reveal yourself more and hold on to the society then in such a way you find the balance to not fall and this sustains you. Try, this has to be an inner feeling that you have to go through, that you have to experience. It’s like a child he holds onto something and it’s just not to fall he holds on to it and that’s how we need to learn.

21. S. (42:39) We are scrutinizing here how a person is constantly judged based on his yearning and his yearning is always incorrect. Where does this incorrect yearning appear from? Who makes it all the time?

R. The evil inclination in the person always draws a person to a more comfortable point in the person and this is minimum investment and maximum fulfillment to enjoy and be filled. That is the formula of the evil inclination.

S. There is a concept of pace, the speed of advancement, in that range of time, maybe distance, from the moment that I discover myself in an incorrect yearning to the moment that I said things correctly, is there meaning to this speed? Because I can be my whole life in this incorrect yearning

R. That all depends on the extent in which you can come closer to the environment because the correction is not yours, the correction is in the connection between the person and the environment and therefore you cannot stand all the time in your life, you have to constantly see how you are updated in relation to your surroundings, to your environment. If you disconnect from this matter than you are in the air and you have no discernments, not too good or too bad.

22. S. (45:15) Can we say that this thing called correction is when a person turns judgment into mercy?

R. When a person changes judgment to mercy, yes.

S. That is called correction?

R. Yes.

S. Now this depends on how much he has the greatness of the goal? How much he manages to tie it to the Creator?

R. Correct.

S. So there is a state where the person on the path adheres to the society, he does everything that Kabbalists are saying to do but he does not have the energy to turn the judgment into mercy and when the judgment comes he falls.

R. So he's not adhered enough to the society.

S. So how do you come out of this kind of judgment? It is a judgment when you are not able to adhere to the society.

R. There is nothing you can do, there isn't’. That is the biggest, strongest means. He can learn more, you can do all sorts of acts of dissemination etc. but eventually the bottom line is that to be incorporated with the ten is the most internal action he can have and there's nothing second to that. Incorporating with society in praying to the Creator to come to the prayer of many from the ten to the Creator; meaning, to that force that they want to discover between them and want to feel that it exists between them that only a little more and a little more revitalize them and revive them and establish Him, as it is written: you made me. If you are drawn to that there's nothing higher than that. Okay?

23. S. (47:10) What are the signs that a person came to a state called Rosh Hashanah?

R. That he is about to go and decide how he is changing his direction towards a more straight direction towards the purpose of creation?

24. S. (47:38) Earlier I heard you say that everything that we have after the sin is shattered and we have to arrange these external and internal systems until we can feel reality as one. The question is what are those internal systems that we have to arrange and how do we fix them?

R. That we will learn. I do not want to enter into details. It will just confuse people; we need to do this all gradually.

25. S. (48:15) I'm trying to depict something to strive for as a ten and as an individual in judging myself. So what is more correct to say that at the end of this process of Rosh Hashanah we have a clear plan for how to improve ourselves as far as coming closer to the friends and the Creator, or is this a spiral process each time one discernment, one correction?

R. More and more and more. Each time, gradually, even more than that.

Reading another excerpt from the study material Shamati #58 (49:21): “The Creator sentences one where one is in other words if one takes upon himself..”

26. R. (50:15) Yes, this needs to be the decision that in every given moment I decide that I really need to advance this way and I am certain that I'm connected with the ten and with the Creator and therefore my step forward is correct and then I have no place to err, for the time being of course.

Excerpt #11 (50:40) “Man is the judge, and he must sentence and determine who is right...”

27. R. (52:09) For the Creator to become bigger in his eyes.

Continues #11 (52:14) “…It follows that when a person…”

28. R. (53:02) This is the essence of the result that needs to be, that He lets him feel the holiness, that there is greater value in bestowal and in love towards someone, towards something, that is the Creator. So to come to this we want as a result of all our efforts whereas this attitude will replace the bread of shame.

Reading Item #11 again (53:43): “Man is the judge, and he must sentence and determine who is right…”

29. R. (54:49) Meaning what justification is there for this? How can I check if I am going with the good inclination or I'm calling some desire, some goal, as the good? Yes…

Reading (55:05): “... it cannot be said that it is in order…”

30. R. (55:30) How do I reach or how do I want to feel that I am missing the feeling of the greatness of the Creator? Which is actually everything. If the Creator will be great in my eyes and is standing in His greatness before me then nothing will be hard for me. How do I come to a state, look like it's written here: “but a person needs to choose the good for the greatness of the Creator”. How do I want to perform each time a step forward just so that the Creator will be great in my eyes? Because this will save me, help me to go in the true way, to adhere in truth to be adhered through the friends to the Creator and to help in the corrected state, everything in this way. The main thing for me is to have the feeling of the greatness of the Creator. So here we are actually stumbling upon this matter of Rosh Hashanah where we're talking about the Creator like the King who reigns, who rules over everything, arranges everything, corrects everything. That all the shattering and all the corrections are all in His hands in order to show us what we are made up of and how accordingly we can understand Him correctly, attain Him correctly. That the Creator will grow and be great in our eyes before everything, first of all Him and after Him all the components of the world such that by me changing my relations towards them I make the Creator greater in my eyes more and more. So here comes the question: how do we intensify the greatness of the Creator between us every single moment, moment after moment?

WSQ: (59:02) How do we increase the greatness of the Creator between us each and every moment?

31. S. (01:08:20) Judgment: is it something scary or the opposite - something that increases the joy?

R. Judgment is something that straightens a person towards the goal. If we didn’t have the forces of judgments a person would be confused and philosophizing and spinning around the truth, revolving around it, and not knowing where the truth is. Judgment is what performs a limitation on the person and gives him direction, the correct, good direction and therefore the forces of judgment are forces of true correct forces without which we cannot exist.

S. Scary is because I am about to be triad by the Creator but it makes me happy because I reveal my evil before the Creator in order to correct it so I'm asking if it's scary or happy?

R. Scary or gives you joy to the extent you're connected to the goal and are connected to the actions that the Creator's performing upon you in order to advance you to the goal. I always tell the story about how I with joy ran to jump on to the surgical table because I waited for a week to have an operation because I could not breathe and I had blood in my lungs and then I was so happy when they said okay go we will operate on you now and then I truly ran, I ran to the operating table so is it judgment or not judgment? On one hand it is judgment but on the other hand it's mercy; meaning, it's all on how a person looks at the result and the goal.

32. S. (01:10:47) We just spoke in the workshop about having the greatness of the Creator, the Creator is the quality of bestowal, it's through the connection between us, we give examples of the greatness of the Creator, my question is what does it mean to be in the greatness of the Creator? To have greatness of some power that is great or it's something that has to do with the friends?

R. No, the greatness of the Creator we can depict to ourselves as the force that controls all of reality and it's the force of good and it guides us all from the point of perfection, from wholeness. That's it. The main quality of the Creator is perfection, wholeness, peace and it is revealed towards us as love but in the perfection, in the wholeness and love against wholeness there is imperfection and against love there's hatred, separation, repulsion etc., because we can’t differentiate just light or just darkness, we have to be in the middle, in the contrast between the two and then we can differentiate between the two and establish ourselves in such a way. Which is why the Creator includes everything but we need to constantly see ourselves in how we arrange everything and arrange ourselves towards Him in a way that is as perfect as possible.

S. Where is the ten here? What should we do with the ten in order to reach the state of the greatness of the Creator?

R. How will I aim myself towards the Creator without the ten? To what? I can turn around 360° around me when I'm in some sphere and I don't know where to go. The ten are people like me that to start with I reject, I can’t stand them and to the extent that I advance more I discover that I can’t stand them and that I hate them and I reject them and this is how it was with the students of Rabbi Shimon to the extent that they even wanted to kill each other, to that extent, and then it works out that in such a way we can aim ourselves towards Him. Where if I aim myself towards each and every friend, to be as connected as possible towards Him then really all together in the ten I am depicting to myself the concept of the Creator because I am judging myself as much as possible. All together the friends in my eyes give me the feeling of the character, the image of the Creator therefore it's written you have made me. Where I cannot depict the Creator but please connect all the friends in your eyes, seemingly as they are all in connection, in equivalence and equality, in a sphere or circle and then more or less you are already in the direction which is called the Creator towards the direction of wholeness, and this is what we need.

33. S. (01:15:27) As I understand you explained in the beginning, we have to balance these two forces: the evil inclination and the good force. In the last excerpt we read that we need to choose the Torah, choose the control of the good inclination, what starts this balancing act? How do I start to balance this? When do I discover that I am made of the evil inclination, and I try to tip the scale towards the side of merit?

R. We can’t choose one without the other because we are the created beings and we have to get used to and we have to understand that only through connection, differences between these two we build our reality in our world. This is how we are otherwise we cannot be oriented in anything and also in spirituality. That is why both good and bad have to exist and only bit by bit, to the extent that we correct ourselves, we turn bad to good as well and then we start justifying evil without which I can’t reach good and when I come to the general good, the absolute good, it incorporates all the evil in it, the Creator created the evil inclination, when creation is existence from absence, only for us to distinguish between black and white for instance and to exists between the two, to be oriented in reality this way but when we are oriented there, we, bit by bit turn evil to good as well then it turns out that ultimately we come to a world that is all good.

34. S. (01:17:54) You taught us today that the person is the judge, but it says here that the Creator judges the person according to where he is. How can we discern what the Creator judges and what a person judges?

R. We can't reach such a state but rather we can understand, as a result of that, that the Creator wants a person, directs Him to a better direction and this He does step by step.

35. S. (01:18:56) When we talk about the concept of judgment from what we learned I understand that I need to determine that the Creator is the only one who rules the world but there is another detail here, that His rulership, His guidance is also good. So are there two judgments here or one action of judgment here that assumes that He is the good that does good?

R. He is one and there is no other and all He has is a good intention and in all His actions He is whole.

36. S. (01:19:40) We had a very strong workshop about this question, about the greatness of the Creator and also I realized that after the Latin congress we also have this deficiency to work with the greatness of the Creator and in the workshop between us just now it was really felt and understood that also what you just talked about, is that His greatness is really between us and it's here and now and we build it through our connection but my question is about what happens in this workshop is the kind of feeling of expansion that was new and perhaps you could say something how to proceed with this because it was not really clear how to use this, it was not something that needed to be filled, not a deficiency but merely an expansion, could you please say something about this?

R. This will probably be explained in the upcoming excerpts, I don't think we should go into that today, your question is correct, you are in the right direction but this will be in the next lesson.

37. S. (01:21:21) How could it be that the person himself is the judge and the one who executes? What judging are we talking about? What does he execute?

R. But who else can there be except for man? A person incorporates inside himself the group and he also depicts the Creator and he himself, a person, incorporates the whole world everything he feels which is the world, billions of people, planets, forces, it doesn't matter, everything is inside, inside. That is why one should balance herself, all her forces in a way that with all the forces that awakened in him or her. These forces that awaken it is to balance for a while and then in this balance he discovers one force that works in him with all the forces and discernments, one force and this force is the Creator and then he adheres to this force and that is considered the he attained adhesion, not completely but for the time being with all the qualities that are revealed within and later again he goes forward; meaning, he has an additional evil inclination etc. and then again works on that until he balances it and he discovers that he is inside one force and this is how he discovers these things from one degree to the next. We'll talk about it.

38. S. (01:23:26) What exactly is the verdict and who's the judge?

R. The verdict is that a person certainly feels it on himself, to what extent the forces that are still established in him pull him to a certain direction. That is something we have not learned enough, it is still before us.

39. S. (01:23:56) How can a person judge himself if he never knows what the future result is? How does he make the inner scrutiny of truth?

R. We're always judging, we criticize each and everything, we're looking at everything and we can’t do it without criticizing, of course we are. That is why this is how we advance. It is only that our criticism, our examination always has to be closer to the truth.

40. S. (01:24:34) In order to balance the judgments do we need to feel regrets and repents?

R. Yes, we should. There is no righteous person in this land that has never sinned. We're always advancing from a state where we feel ourselves in the bad state, in a corruption, in a long way and not in a good way and we are advancing to the good, from evil to good, from bad to good that is how we are advancing, always, otherwise it's not called advancement. This is how we will walk.

41. S. (01:25:33) How do we awaken mercy in order to reach balance?

R. This is according to the connection between us. To the extent that we are connected more we don't yet understand that we can distinguish how much the connection between us gives us precision on the way, connection on the way, paise on the way, how much everything depends on the connection between us and the connection between us is basically our whole engine to reach the purpose of creation.

42. S. (01:26:20) Is it correct to think that when we judge others it is the first sign of separation?

R. We don't need to judge anyone except ourselves in our ten. That's the main thing and here we have to demand connection between us as much as possible to be connected to each other. When we are connected to something with shut eyes we can criticize so that this criticism will be in order to bring ourselves closer together.

43. S. (01:27:04) We correct ourselves only through the friends; meaning, in our daily life we can't make corrections?

R. You can even be connected 24 hours between yourselves and when you relate to others you have to relate to them in a normal way without harming anyone but don't open your heart to connection for them because they don't understand what for. That's why we have to work on that only in our ten, each one in our ten, so we will learn a few steps in the ten in practice then we can connect other tens already.

44. S. (01:28:00) How do I know how strongly I'm holding on to the group according to what actions or principles so that I won't lie to myself, what is the criteria?

R. How will I know? In the meantime I don’t know. According to a corporeal shape, the way we are connected. Later I will know that I am added to my ten only to the extent that I can justify them in each and every state, mainly that.

45. S. (01:28:36) How can we know in advance how to mitigate the judgements for the friends?

R. How can we mitigate judgments for the friends? By helping each other in a mutual way, by that we will have the mitigation of the judgments.

46. S. (01:29:03) What does it mean to assume the burden of the Kingdom of heaven for eternity?

R. That is something I also don't know, it is forever. But the burden of the Kingdom of Heaven as we are learning about Rosh Hashanah this means to elevate the Creator to raise Him above our Rosh. He determines everything, He's the King of the world and He does everything and really rules all. This is considered to accept Him, in everything He is the upper, He is the first.

47. S. (01:29:50) These days we are self-scrutinizing. How do we do this self-scrutiny correctly? What should we focus on?

R. To the extent that I, just like I just said, to the extent that I accept the Creator, that He is the first He is the last and besides Him there is nothing and He's the one force that acts in reality and above all the times and states.

48. S. (01:30:25) How to make the maximum effort to grab hold of the Creator in every moment of life?

R. This is by the friends' support.

49. S. (01:30:39) And how to hear the friend's heart in every moment?

R. This is by me opening my heart.
