1. Rav’s Introduction: Yes, this is a great day, the eighth day of Sukkot. This is why it's called the 8th day, Atzeret assembly. We always talk about how to gather and how to connect and here it is seemingly hours of assembling our final direction, the conclusion of all of the connections that we were in. Truly, you may say a year, and this is how we reach the eighth day of the holiday where we actually received what is called all of the light that comes to us to each one of us and to all of us together from above. This light gathers us, connects us, and we as a result of it, feel that we become more and more connected and then to the measure of our connection we feel that we are becoming a Kli. This Kli is ready to receive certain illumination, at least a very small one from above from the Creato. Nevertheless it is an illumination from above so we feel now a bit more than last year.we feel ourselves together and also that there is something common between us which is the upper light that is filling us and embracing.
Item number 1: (03:08) “This is the meaning of what is written….”
2. R. (03:12) That’s Atzeret, define assembly
Reading continues (03:14) “Atzeret means “assembly,....”
3. R. (03:50) Yes, this means that all in all as a result of all these holidays of this whole assembly which we pull and extend through all the days of the holidays, this is to feel that the Creator is in our assembly and we justify his creation and what he did to us and how he took us through all of the states to a state where we become the vessel for his revelation. In order to show of ourselves from us the great joy and the inclination to make him happy.
4. S. (04:50) What exactly is this assembly?
R. We assemble ourselves in the Creator. Now because we finished all of the corrections, all of the assemblies, we can say that the place of Malchut, which is us who assembled it, who built it, who established it, that the Creator is also there and we are all together. This is why it is called Atzeret, an assembly. Atzeret, meaning an assembly and gathering.
S. In the Atzeret, assembly, it's basically the revelation of the Creator?
R. We have the revelation of the Creator within the revelation of the created beings. We also discover ourselves in a new greater form and a more important one and also the Creator.
S. What makes this moment joyful?
R. The revelation of the Creator in the created being this is the purpose of creation. It's not that it symbolizes for us the entire end of all of the corrections but it is a very big part of our efforts which we have made and we have assembled. We drew the Creator to us through all of the actions that we performed, and especially through the four species that we draw everything to Malchut, and we want the Creator to be revealed in it.
S. During the revelation of the Creator and in the special moment of assembly and gathering what's our work?
R. Our work is to assemble everything we will read about it soon and to be a place where the light of the Creator can be revealed as much as possible. Most importantly, that we, it's not like we want to discover all the light that comes to us but rather we have to discover the joy out of the fact that we are in such a state.
5. S. (07:28) We gather in the Creator meaning gathering in the ten?
R. Yes, correct. The fact that we gather in the Ten means that we are gathering in the Creator because ultimately Israel, the light, and in the Creator are one. We have to reach a state where we who gather and the Creator is within us and all the upper light is extending two shine on us and all of this becomes one.
S. If we used to say Creator once it used to be something very general. Yesterday there was a concrete picture of the Ten that appeared. I don't know is that a kind of correction?
R. We can't hear you? Are you paying attention that you were actually speaking into the microphone or you just speaking through the air?
S. Yesterday for the first time instead of some general picture about the Creator, there was some picture of the Ten. Is that something correct?
R. It is all through when you participate together with everyone in an effort.
6. S. (09:21) To assemble in the Creator what does it mean as a Ten, what is this addition to our connection? Let's say the regular connection in the Ten?
R. One vessel receives one Creator. One vessel is when we all connect together and we want to incorporate, to connect, to assemble in a single desire. The desire we can't make it one but the intention that it will be directed from friend to friend and through all the friends to the Creator, that we can aim. We want in the disposition of our heart to connect our hearts, to imagine to ourselves that we are in a single desire, meaning a single heart so much so that the Creator who is one, can clothe in this great desire that we have assembled from all of our hearts. and this is how he is revealed. This actually is what we have to do. This is the end of our work, the end of our correction.
7. S. (10:55) Today we are celebrating the joy of the Torah. This holiday, like all of our holidays, is cyclical, meaning that every year we go back to the same kind of initial point as we had last year. Basically in this year we changed. We went through some renewal process. We have new thoughts, new feelings, and in general I think it's not a regular cycle but we are developing in some spiral, where each time we go to a higher degree at our development, is that correct and if it is so couldn't can you maybe expand on that?
R. We are from one day to the next rising and rising and rising on all the degrees towards the Creator according to the connections that we put together between us. These holidays help us a lot and it gives us a lot of such connections of mutual connection and also connection between us and the Creator. I think that you all feel that this is how it is happening already. We will continue in that more and more until we will discover the states in actuality that everyone that they all go through us more and more until we will discover these states in actuality They all go through all of us in a more in a revealed manner and they’re bringing us closer and aiming us and this is what has to happen soon. In the upcoming time.
Item 2 (13:10) “Our whole intention on the day of Shemini Atzeret….” twice
8. S. (14:17) What does it mean that the Creator unites with this assembly of Israel?
R. With the vessel. The Creator's the light of Ein Sof, and He and all of His actions. He assembles the vessels, He connects them, He corrects them to the extent that they also make an effort out of themselves and an intention and the Creator can clothe in them and be as light inside of the vessel. It all happens according to the equivalence of form as much as the vessel is similar to the light. This is what we are studying and this is what we have to start to feel, how we threw the connection between us through our work, how we assemble so much so that the connection between us will be suitable for the single light that will fill us.
S, How do we continue this feeling from everything we collected in these holidays and feel actually more connected at heart?
R. We will continue. We will continue. This is why we also have today, a very special day which is the general assembly that should be felt in us as gathering all of the holidays that we went through together. We hold it. This is actually a transition into a state where in all of the holidays we are under the rule of the holiday, the rule of the upper one. Today we are shifting to our hour rule, and here it's important not to lose the connection between us but to the contrary to strengthen it more and more. We're seemingly receiving a handoff from the Creator to us that from here on we are continuing the assembly. We are connected and we are building for the Creator that place for his revelation so that all of the holidays, no matter which ones, nevertheless it's an awakening from above, it comes to us from above, it has already been determined and established in the upper lights. We are entering states where all of these days we will already be through an awakening from us and an awakening from below. This is why we have to pay attention. How do we extend those lights that came to us through the upper awakening, how do we draw them to the awakening from below. the wakening from us.
Reading item 3: (17:45) "The Eighth of the Assembly is a celebration in itself…"
9. R. (18:10) Yes, this is the last day that seals for us all of the holidays, it assembles for us all of the holidays and it stops them and this is why it is called the joy of Torah meaning all of the light that we can discover from above, it is revealed inside a single vessel and we draw this light, it's not one, the light itself includes many lights and we thus receive it through Israel, the light and the Creator are one. That is he wants to tell us that the 8th day of the assembly it's a holiday on its own it's not that it's related to all of the connected, to all the previous holidays but rather we through the previous holidays have prepared the place or let's say the trail or the path for the upper light so I can come down from above to us.
10. S. (19:35) How does it work that all of the holidays are from the Creator and then there is suddenly a moment that comes from us, why this inversion?
R. Because this is beginning to be our work already on the 8th day of the assembly to make it into the day of the joy of the Torah that we, with our intention, we want to unite as he writes in excerpt number two, to unite the upper light with the vessel with the Malchut, Kingdom, so that the entrance of the nine lights into Malchut is called the joy of the Torah. Then we discover how much we are reaching the upper unification of Israel, the light and the Creator are one and this is already by us wanting it to happen, by us drawing the upper light to Malchut.
S. So what is the right response on our part?
R. We want that the upper light will be revealed in Malchut and we caused the connection between them.
S. And what have we done so far?
R. So far we didn't do these things in actuality, until now we were not concerned about having a connection between the first nine and Malchut, Kingdom, but rather we prepared the lights, we prepared the vessels but a true connection, for to exist, why is it called an Atzeret, an assembly? Because they all come together and they connect and the upper light enters this connection according to the equivalence of forms between the light and the vessels and this is why this day is called the joy of Torah. When the upper light called Torah or the full lights NRNHY even above NRNHY, because it's no longer divided into five lights, it enters into the correct assembly of the vessels that were broken and now they become connected so much so that it is called the assembly of Israel. That it assembles the entire vessel, there are many vessels, into a single vessel and many lights are revealed as one light and the individual Malchuyot are revealed as a single Malchut. This is why this is actually what we celebrate and so this is why we say that Israel, the light in the Creator are one.
S. So what does the Creator put us through until this point?
R. All the corrections, all the individual corrections and now he seals it, signs it, concludes it.
S. And now when we respond to all the corrections that happened on the part of the Creator how do we continue to work with them?
R. In that we enter the great coupling, the connection, which is called the joy of Torah when the upper light that is called Torah it enters into the vessel that has been prepared for it and there is a unification between Israel the light and the Creator, meaning between the upper light and the vessel and it is all revealed as one. One receives one.
S. So we read before that on the Eighth of the assembly all the holidays are in it.
R. Yes because all the corrections that we perform throughout the year are all revealed on Shemini Atzeret, Simchat Torah, joy of the Torah. That we have no greater day than receiving the upper light inside of the corrected vessel.
S. What is so great about this day though?
R. That the Creator comes in and he settles in the created beings, we don't quite feel it and in general who is taking part in the celebrations? Who appreciates them? It's because we haven't reached, in practice, in our worlds, this state, this light has not been revealed but when we will get closer to it you can see how much the world will change.
11. S. (25:28) The days of the holidays are the preparation?
R. Throughout the year we make corrections and on the 8th of the assembly we get the results. It's like we have several such days throughout the year which are very great days, very high however we don't quite give them the right attention because these days, these states, are still far from being revealed in our world and when we will reach it and we will come closer to their realization then we will see how truly great they are even though earlier there were hardly noticed.
12. S. (26:36) We went through a special seven days in Sukkot and then we went through states, the guests in the Sukkah stay, different states. What is important to take from this holiday to Merit the joy of Torah?
R. Connection, with one word it's only connection, this is what the Creator wants from all of the created beings. That they would connect together as it was before the shattering of Adam HaRishon. All of the desires, all of the thoughts, all of the yearnings that it will all be together with the intention that each one is bestowing to the other and he wants to connect with everyone and in this way, if we will start to get closer to each other, we will start to feel how much our world is a spiritual world it is good and beautiful, that's it. After these holidays again we are entering a year, the cycle of the year and we will see how we will continue it so it will already be on a different degree, a Higher One and that we will feel the relation between us all so differently, it's different, higher, with greater understanding of who it is before me. That it's not just my friends but it's parts of my soul, that I will feel it like that, this is what we need to pay attention to.
13. S. (28:48) Can you summarize the holiday or the whole period of the holidays? Because we felt inspiration
R. No, let us, first of all, finish this study. Whatever they write for me I have to keep it. If I have something before me I'm very meticulous about reading it and explaining it to and being precise with it. Later on we will see the fact that you were asking if I can scan over all the holidays, I think it would be better if it will be a topic for Workshop or discussion but not that I will tell you about it because when you speak about it you become more Incorporated with each other and there's a greater benefit of that let's see.
Reading item 4 (29:56) “It is written in the gatehouse of intentions...” twice.
14. R. (31:33) The Torah Zeir Anpin when it starts to shine through Malchut this is considered that the Torah is revealed in the lower ones, in the souls, in people,. This is called the joy of Torah, Simcha Torah, that is the corrected light that fills the corrected vessels. Everything is around a single action and a single purpose.
15. S. (32:09) Where in our connection can we find this quality of Zeir Anpin in the Torah?
R. We don't have it. We are preparing a vessel for it and then when the vessel will be ready the connection between us is a mutual connection where we all want to bestow to everyone each one to the others. Then in such a way we reach a state where we make the Creator happy or we give joy to the Torah to the upper light that will clothe the vessel because this is his desire. He created the vessels for it to fill them and make them happy.
16. S. (33:09) What are the signs that the Torah shines to Malchut.
R. When a person feels that he is beginning to attain the intentions, the purposes, the desires of the creator, within him, inside of him. In his connection with the others, and beginning to work together with them in one heart.
17. S. (33:48) The joy of the Torah should we assume that the Creator is happy with us that we are engaged in this work?
R. Yes, the fact that we want to assemble even in the way that is not corrected yet, not complete. it doesn't matter it's like little children as much as they grow, it gives happiness to the parents and it's the same with us when we from one day to the next one to be more connected and to gather and to connect in order to be suitable for the upper light to be revealed in us one day this gives joy to the Creator. He is happy with us.
18. S. (35:01) How does it connect when the Creator receives contentment from what we build this Kli for the reception of the light, how do we connect it to the joy that we feel between us right now?
R. You can't feel it yet because your joy is still not yet matching the joy of the Creator which will be revealed according to the equivalence of form, bit by bit you come closer to it.
19. S. (35:44) I heard you say before that we will gradually begin to see that our friends are parts of our soul, that we will feel that. I wanted to pay attention to that and I wanted to ask what it means that we feel the friends as pieces of my soul. What changes exactly?
R. I can explain this to you. It's an inner feeling that we are so connected that it's impossible to separate us internally. We cannot be separated. This is what we need to feel. It is to be one man and one heart. Then you will feel how much each one is getting closer or moving away in a way that you feel him inside that he is moving away and are coming closer, and then you will constantly be concerned where he is? Do we see him or not, why, yes, no. This is the connection there is more additional degrees and matters in that but at least like that.
S. I understand what you're saying, maybe still you're saying to pay more attention to it. What do we need to pay attention to because there is some intercommunication between us I assume of concern, what attention can we add here?
R. Pay attention that we attain the final goal together through our mutual incorporation, the most internal one that you can imagine.
20. S. (37:37) How is it possible to come from the state of Hoshana Raba to the state of Simchat Torah?
R. They are close to each other, Hoshana Rabbah is that we ask and we expect Rosh HaShana. In other words, salvation. This is why he brings us joy that we have been expecting so much to be free of our ego not because we want it but because it does not allow us to be grateful to the Creator to bestow him to engage in bestowal to resemble the Creator. Now we are able to,this is that great HaShana, the great salvation that the Creator did for us.
21. S. (39:01) Why is there a feeling that after we've achieved some new degree of connection there's this sharp state that comes that if you don't add this seed then everything is lost?
R. This is how it is in spirituality always. That the final action seals and concludes and wraps everything that was before it and this is why it scrutinizes the entire action the general action all in all as one. Everything is felt in the end.
S. Is it really that sharp? That everything that you had everything is lost?
R. No, not that everything is lost. There is no such thing and spirituality that everything is lost but nevertheless, how can I express this, that we feel in the end. Until then we have to add and add patiently with the persuasion and most importantly with the connection between the friends in order to hold each other and then we all reach the summary.
S. From that we're happy that we can give the effort?
R. We are happy that the Creator is giving us an opportunity to see that without connection between us we will not be able to get closer to the goal. That inside us is the connection of the us is the goal and therefore as much as another step and another step we go through on the path we see that only through the interconnections between us without paying attention to all the external phenomena that want to cool us down. This is how we advance.
S. This is called the vessel in which we can receive the Torah?
R. Yes, exactly this is the vessel.
22. S. (41:44) The next degree of connection is felt as so gentle and so subtle. How can we develop this subtlety, this feeling because it truly feels like it's concealed and evasive and slippery?
R. You have all this in the friends, if you start working with them you'll see how much there is. Here you have to open your heart and open it and close it and open and close it. Then there are all such actions, all kinds of such actions you will start to build the screen and attitude you will see where your coarseness is. All the different manners of connections it's truly all ahead of you.
S. These are the same actions that we do all the time because it feels as though we're missing out, where we are performing a single action that actually exists in a different place?
R. If you're performing actions to be closer to the friend then this action is the right groove, but only on the condition that you're thinking through it to be more together and enclosed with everyone.
S. What does it mean to be more enclosed because I'm coming out of a certain connection and I want to reach a certain connection? What does it mean that I'm more enclosed with them?
R. A stronger connection, a more inclusive that you're becoming more incorporated and all of the different manners that you want to feel for your friends. I know all of their different forms and the way that they are all connecting. You want to incorporate all of these connections and to become Incorporated with that.
S. Should it be expressed in a greater deficiency for connection with them?
R. Of course without the deficiency how can you start any action?
S. Let's say in the end of some process of connection I should feel a greater yearning to be connected or should I feel more connected?
R. Both, one has nothing to do with the other, it's like if you have some good food you enjoy the food and with that another deficiency grows in you.
23. S. (44:28) How is the custom of bringing out all the books of Torah of the holy covenant related to the joy of Torah?
R. This is a custom we're not learning about the customs here. What's important for us is what's related and what's needed for the soul.
24. S. (44:56) Is the timing of the joy of Simchat Torah, for each Ten, for each individual, is it tied to the calendar day?
R. That is also a question which is not to the point. We are not related to times. We are related to spiritual states, so after we correct the vessels, then comes to a Sukkot and the Ushpizim, the guests we get lights that correct our vessel, Hesed, Gevura, Tifferet, Netzach, Hod, Yesod, Malchut, HGT NHYM, and in that the joy of Torah when all of the light is assembled and incorporated and it fills the entire vessel that we have corrected.
25. S. (45:57) How do we express this joy of the Torah in our tens and groups, or do we conceal it and feel it only internally?
R. We're talking about an inner feeling, just like the whole Torah is referred to as the inner wisdom that everything is felt internally by the person in his heart. Externally there are customs and many different customs but that's typically for the common people. We're talking about our interstates, how our desires are changing and it gets more and more ready to be filled by the upper light.
26. S. (47:19) In this new degree of connection it appears as though (sentence not completely translated)
R. Yes, that's right.
27. S. (47:45) What does it mean in Excerpt number 4, when he says that the Creator is happy to give to the lower ones? Who are these lower ones and what is the lower one?
R. We are the lower ones. We want to receive from the Creator the correction of the vessels and then the fulfillment of the vessels and by that we come to equivalents and adhesion with Him.
28. S. (48:41) You said that we have to reach a connection with each other, what is this connection that you are talking about? We are all sitting here together. we are connected. How can we reach interconnections? How can we reach an interconnection? Are we not engaging in interconnections ?
R. As probably insufficient because we don't feel in the connections between us some unique upper force that connects us and that is called inner connection. This reveals to us a new upper reality. A reality that is in mutual bestowal between us and that we feel ourselves being above this world in mutual bestow and mutual love.
S. What's missing?
R. What's missing is relation between us instead of an ordinary relationship that will be a relationship of mutual bestow.
S. How do we reach this relation that we are talking about? How can we practically reach those conditions to truly feel our internality, our inner relation to reach this work, to truly reach this inner need?
R. To grab hold of the moment and then ask the Creator and demand him to connect between us in connections of bestowal and let's pay attention that we want to be only in bestowal. each one in his group, not outside of the group, but each one in his group to pay attention that he relates equally to all of the friends only in bestowal, with this attention and connection and he wants this feeling to grow and become clarified as the upper light that fills the gaps between us.
S. What do you mean through annulment towards the friends, it's only about annulment?
R. Annulment too.
S. What else?
R. Connection.
S. What is this concept of connection?
R. The concept of connection is that I want to be connected with the other in heart and soul and mind and that we will feel ourselves as one.
Excerpt 5: (51:58) 'We must remember the known rule that there is no light without a Kli"
Excerpt 6: (53:27) "When one receives an illumination from above", twice
29. S. (55:39) This illumination from above that develops us and brings us to Lishma should it be felt by us somehow and the Ten some awakening?
R. This awakening is felt by the one who who summons it and invites itt and anticipates it and not in everyone, but for the others it's light shines as a surrounding light so it's farther but it's still bring them closer and if there are in the Ten a few people who are practically attracting the light then the others received from it and addition of surrounding light.
S. What is it like? Who are these people in the Ten? Who draws the light? How do we draw the light?
R. They want to be in bestowal, in practice.
30. S. (56:54) If we're all different and there's no equality between us, then how do we relate equally to all the friends?
R. We will never be equal because being equal means that there is no one and second or third that's just one. We're not equal according to our desires and that means we're also unequal in our intentions, in our actions we are not equal in anything. No one is identical to another in anything. no. Yet we are all drawn to a single source which we think of as a single source until we begin to equalize with the Creator and when we get to a state where the Creator shines on us and his upper light truly does connect us and make us into a single assembly. But if not for that we would never get closer and feel each other as belonging to a single root, we'd have no way to connect.
31. S. (58:47) If suddenly in some manner I am able to draw light, I'm not saying that I'm doing it but let us say if through the friends the Creator is showing me my uncorrect qualities then why won't this light work on me and not on the friends, am I thinking correctly or how do iI do it?
R. I want the upper light that each one in the group can somehow attract and influence everyone. and bring everyone together and then together we and then together we make a single vessel.
Excerpt 7 (59:54) During the study we must always pay attention to the purpose. (Twice)
32. S. (01:02:16) Following each and every Congress you say that we advanced. There was never such a feeling of advancement after these holidays. There's a very clear feeling of advancement that is expressed and enjoyed for the friends in the world Kli to the Creator and to you?
R. That is true. I've truly received such letters from everyone.
33. S. (01:02:54) What are vessels of bestowal? There are vessels of reception. What are vessels of bestowal?
R. Well asked. Vessels of bestowal mean that vessels that have no ability to receive in order to bestow but in order to bestow in order to bestow. These are vessels of the coarseness, level Root 1 and 2. Vessels of reception are coarser vessels, thicker vessels, they have a greater will to receive. They can receive in order to bestow if they are corrected. These are vessels with the coarseness level three and four.
S. Why is it called a vessel we normally say the force of bestowal or the ability to bestow?
R. No, no it is a vessel. They received the light in order to bestow. They are actually vessels.
34. S. (01:03:56) There has to be a demand for the Torah. if there is no deficiency, does the joy come nonetheless?
R. If there is no deficiency for the Torah, there's no joy of the Torah because there is no vessel for it to be clothed and then from its fulfillment there will be a sense of joy.
35. S. (01:04:33) Thank you very much. Attention means to pay attention to friends?
R. [translations missing ]
36. S. (01:04:56) Baal HaSulam wrote if a person receives would know what the quality of bestowal fis before he has the vessels for discovering bestowal if you would discover what it is still cut off his hands and legs, mean that there has to be a preparation. The question is how to be in gratitude for the concealment that the Creator is giving us, that we will truly be in gratitude and yearn for the revelation of he the Creator. That is to keep the concealment on the one hand but we yearn for his revelation and to even add joy to this.
R. All of that falls into place and comes to us in a single feeling. That is why it is called coupling or striking. You understand? You always talk about such things where there are seemingly opposite actions together. You'll come to it and you'll see how it happens beautifully one inside the other.
S. That is it. It is impossible to reach a result without putting things together.
R. In spirituality it does that and spirituality that does happen.
S. You cannot receive the Torah as long as you don't reach this necessity. Also you received a guarantee from the Creator.
R. Yes true, correct, that Isaac will be from your seed and you will sacrifice and so on. We learn all that but we do not do not understand it until it dresses in a single vessel. We will wait a bit more and you will feel it.
37. S. (01:07:17) How can we catch the illumination and not let the opportunity just pass by?
R. All of this depends on the friends. One person can not hold on to it, if all the friends are around him, it's like a system of Arvut that we are in a boat and that we are all smoothing smoothly.
S. (01:07:56) What I received from the Creator this is how I give Him contentment?
R. Of course.

39. S. (01:09:52) How can we help the friends to feel that we are in a Hitkalelut awakening? Because many times we feel that we are in a descent.
R. We don’t know how to properly grade or rank our states, we can’t but bit by bit as we acquire our attitude towards bestowal then we can rank our states correctly but until we at least somewhat move to the system of bestowal we have no way to measure ourselves correctly.
40. S. (01:10:56) From which degree or what state the system allows the person to actually perform practical actions to be a partner in the work of the Creator?
R. If I connect with the friends and I want to be closer to them and do with them everything that I imagine that needs to be done in spirituality then I am on the right track. Everything becomes clearer and realized in the connection between us, as much as we are against it and don’t want it, but the main thing is the connection between us. I remember myself how I used to resist it and only afterwards I agreed and since then I’m beginning to see somewhat of the spiritual shape of the world.
Excerpt 9 (01:12:33) Baal HaSulam writes, “Joy is a reflection of good deeds.”
41. S. (01:14:23) Any questions and any participation in the lesson is to bring some good, some benefit for the group. What do I need to do for it to be beneficial?
R. You need to give a good example to your friends by wanting to try to join the group everytime more and more and in connecting to the group you’re strengthening them and incorporating them embracing them giving them confidence and serving them, and in such a way that’s what always has to happen between you and the group. Towards the group we can do all spiritual actions in this world, you have nothing but the group actually.
42. S. (01:15:58) What does it mean to look into the words of Torah?
R. Look into the words of the Torah is what Rabash writes for instance in his articles that we want to understand them and implement them in the connection between us.
43. S. He writes here something very curious that we need to know that there is a discernment of Klipa. What is this Klipa in Kedusha?
R. We learned about such things that the Klipa the peel watches over the fruit guards it, there’s not one without the other, on the contrary if you want to reach holiness you have to go through the Klipa and only in such a way you actually reveal holiness and you can discern between it and the peel the shell and use it correctly. We’ve learned such articles.
S. Can we say that Klipa can be revealed in the ten in the work in the ten and what is the Klipa in this relationship to the group in the ten?
R. Our ego our shell is our ego.
S. What do we need to do with that Klipa in a work?
R. What we need to do? Simple, to know how to work with it that it will guard us keep us because the shell or the peel guards the fruit as much as I treat the holiness and the Klipa correctly and I don't just toss it away but through it I can scrutinize what truth is what lie is what a bestowal or reception is love and hate, that’s why I have a need for it. The Creator didn't create in nature it was a reason He created nature that everything is inside a peel.
S. So what does it mean I need to keep the Klipa?
R. Keep it to the extent that you need it in order to grow onward. Imagine for yourself that you peel off a peel from a fruit that didn’t grow yet.
S. It’s flawed.
R. It’s not ripe yet.
S. Can you explain the excerpt what is this acts of Kedusha, the good deeds. Can we scrutinize through that?
R. I don't understand, again.
S. If you can explain the excerpt because there is holy deeds or actions of Kedusha.
R. Holy deeds is what’s connection to bestowal to holiness better aimed to the purpose of connection. Holy means bestowal.
S. I understood this could only be clarified in knowledge of Kedusha?
R. Yes but there is also before we enter the knowledge of holiness you can in somewhat scrutinize it because there’s a certain illumination that helps us advance even though we are not in those vessels yet.
S. We studied that Baal HaSulam was happy from revealing the evil in him. What is the difference between this joy?
R. Between which?
S. That a person discovers the the evil ones in him and the joy of the good deeds.
R. Yes it is two different forms of happiness. In one I’m happy I revealed the evil in me that is still before me to correct and the other form is that I discovered the sacred things in me already the holy things that I want to keep. That’s how we are in the difference between good and bad and a person who comes to, a person who reaches corrections has a lot of good and against that a lot of bad.
S. There are moments that we overcome and connect and suddenly there’s joy and when we reveal the evil then we’re not happy.
R. That's too bad that you still can’t be happy from that because the evil was created by the Creator too and if you reveal the evil it’s like Baal HaSulam writes in his letter that that brought the holiness of the day. The fact that you revealed the evil that’s the upper light bestowing upon you and showing you that you have evil in you that’s why you have to be happy that this revelation is coming from above and then as he writes there, put your eyes on them and they’ll be like a sack of bones.
44. S. (01:22:15) We read in excerpt nine where he says that even if he has no livelihood in studying Torah still he needs to be in joy or try to be in joy and if there’s no livelihood then what do you have to be happy from?
R. If I still take it as being on the path it's a scrutiny and it helps me understand myself where I am it becomes more clear where I am towards the Creator so I am happy even from revealing the bad things, that's still the scrutiny is for the good, there is not a righteous in the land who did good and didn’t sin first, meaning first we discover our sins and from the sins we discover the good so if I discover sin it’s a sign that now on the path with efforts I'll reach its correction, and only in such a way we can go from the bad to the good from the shattering to the correction.
S. In the same excerpt he writes about even if you have a moment in the day or until you will still see great bounty in it, then what exactly do you take away? What is this bounty from these moments that you get to study Torah?
R. It’s a collection of forces say thoughts that are revealed and help you advance to the purpose of creation. Maybe I don't understand your question how it helps you. I'm in happiness from advancing I have to reach a state that each and every moment I’m actually in happiness. Why? Because every moment I'm advancing whether through revealing the bad or revealing the good but I am always in the process.
S. I ask about excerpt eight where in the excerpt it is described as if you want but you can't invest and still you have to rejoice that you even got a moment during the day to be connected to it you still have to rejoice.
R. That you appreciate what the Creator is doing to you even one moment a day that He makes contact with you that He awakens you so you feel that He is turning towards you so you already have to be in happiness from this and ingratitude.
S. Is there any ability of a person to expand these moments where the Creator?
R. Yes, expanding these moments is through connection with friends and that He, well as much as possible, give gratitude and happy towards the Creator that did all this for me, it all depends on as much as we respect the Creator's attitude towards us.
45. S. (01:25:55) What are these same loss of the other side?
R. Those are big questions we’ll learn the next maybe even on “The Gatehouse of Intentions” it’s judgments that are revealed also from the right and also from the left and those judgments actually they keep us they guard us that won’t run away from the path, we advance to the right and then come back to the middle we come back to the left and then come back to the middle, otherwise it’s a shella Klipa, there's a Klipa on the right and a Klipa on the left.
S. What is this Sitra Achra?
R. If a person thinks there’s another upper force except for the Creator except for the good he thinks there’s the evil force … said from the evil there’s a good and that it’s not under one subject, that means he has a lot of gods and he bows down before many forms of godliness and that is the biggest transgression.
46. S. (01:27:45) There's a feeling that we are coming closer to connecting two opposites. What is the reason in excerpt nine as it is written is that a sign of Kedusha is that there is a reason or knowledge?
R. That it’s revealed in a spiritual vessel by combining Hochma and Hassadim Daat is revealed as we say it’s the upper force that is revealed in such a way in man.
S. It is connected to the middle line?
R. Yes.
S. I have a great confusion between the right line and the left line and people ask me questions about Aaron that in the classical depiction he’s in the left line and we studied that hess in the right line and for example Moses is he in the middle line or in the right line? What is Moses?
R. No, no, you can’t study in such a way, sorry. All those big pillars even though they belong to right left and middle but they are all, you can't study that in such a way. No. We will learn about it in a different framework when we have, there has to be a more complete text in front of us.
Reading (01:29:59) “If a person while receiving the pleasure from the Creator…”
R. (01:31:17) That is the meal of the groom that we’re preparing everything towards the Creator that He’ll come, that he reaches a state where we finished all preparations and with our correct intention after our preparation He can come and clothe it. That’s called the Creator will find joy in his deeds.
47. S. (01:32:00) What does it mean not to throw away the Klipa?
R. The Klipa protects the fruit the Klipa is the peel it protects the fruit as we see. If you peel the peel off and just toss it meaning you don’t use it so what remains from the fruit if you don’t use that fruit so it starts rotting and spoils, that’s why we need to understand this that this is a result of the upper forces that if we don’t to use in order to bestow so we cannot reach any change in nature, any change can only be towards in order to bestow and if not so we’re spoiling things and that’s what we see in our life in ourselves and in our world. To our matter our correction has to be gradual and we cn advance and exist in our world only if we complete nature and not destroy it meaning to the extent that we connect then we are allowed to perform corrections because the corrections we will perform will be from the connection between us, and if we do all kinds of actions in the world not through the connection between us it’ll be revealed sooner or later as something that harms. That is what we can accept from this for now.
49. S. (01:34:10) How to do what Rabash speaks about?
R. So, who are they, the desires?
S. The group, my desires.
R. Not the group you, your desires, what don't they want? If they don't want to enjoy bestowal they enjoy reception because that is in a direct simple natural way they understand it and to enjoy bestowal they don't have it, they have to perform corrections in order to enjoy bestowal. How can they enjoy bestowal? By raising importance of bestowal then you'll be able to enjoy bestowal much more than you enjoy reception, any deed of bestowal will bring you 620 times more pleasure than a deed of reception. Just imagine to yourself how much intensity there can be in an action of bestowal if you perform it compared to an action of reception because that is how the upper light adds, just we can't convince ourselves to do that.
S. How do I change this in me?
R. Now, you probably won't be able to do it because if you start doing it, you’ll do it because you heard because there’s a greater pleasure there.
50. S. (01:36:19) How does a person when he receives the pleasure from the Creator can direct it in order to bestow?
R. By having it pass through the group, through the friends.
S. And does he have to continue feeling the pleasure?
R. He has to continue feeling pleasure but a completely different kind of pleasure from a different reason and a different style. It is a pleasure from bestowing, either you receive a gift from someone or you give someone a gift. It is a complete kind of pleasure.
S. How do you check if he really does it? If he truly rejoices the Creator
R. The pleasure he gets from it.
S. If he gets a pleasure from it, how does he check it at all?
R. Because he receives pleasure in vessels of bestowal.
S. Meaning?
R. He reaches a state where he gets the upper light from above, on his prayer, and the upper light establishes in him the vessels of bestowal.
S. Who enjoys from this pleasure that he receives now?
R. Also man, and also the Creator.
S. And the friends, what about them?
R. Of course.
S. Does a person have a way to find if their friends are getting benefit from his work?
R. If they are connected, of course, if there are mutual vessels between them.
S. It is clear, thank you.
51. S. (01:38:48) How can we rejoice the Creator in the vessels of bestowal? What does it mean? Is this an act of dissemination?
R. By bestowing to Him and also it is an act of dissemination, both.
S. If the Creator sends us some action, does something from above come to us?
R. Yes.
52. S. (01:39:54) What does it mean to rejoice in the Creator if He does not exist in essence?
R. What does it mean He does not exist? There is no such thing as he does not exist. We are speaking of a Creator that does not exist in a way we imagine Him, but the Upper Force is the only thing that exists, and actually we don’t exist.
53. S. (01:40:31) A person has to rejoice that there is contentment to the Creator that he can bestow to the lowers. What is this point of connection between man and creation where a person feels that the Creator has joy.
R. The fact that they are bestowing mutually, the Creator to the created being, and the created being to the Creator.
54. S. (01:40:59) In excerpt nine, what is more important in the spiritual work: the feeling of joy from the connection or the desire to connect?
R. A feeling of happiness for connection or desire to connection. The feeling is more important. The feeling is more important.
55. S. (01:41:34) Can it be said that the more we want to annul ourselves before the group the more we have the opportunity to bestow contentment or to rejoice the Creator?
R. Yes.
56. S. (01:41:45) Is there reception of the light in the ten? Meaning will a person feel this somehow?
R. I didn't understand.
S. Will the reception of the light in the Kli show lack in a person?
R. Yes.
57. S. (01:42:16) How should we prepare ourselves in the ten for reception of the Torah?
R. Only in connection. There’s nothing else to answer, there's nothing, nothing else.
58. S. (01:42:33) What do we do when the life from the Creator feels overwhelming and how do we take this feeling and give it to the ten?
R. By the connection between us it takes place. We shouldn’t be too wise here.
59. S. (01:42:57) ) Should we yearn for the deficiency of the Creator or for the revelation of the Creator. What should we focus on?
R. Actually for the deficiency for the Creator.
60. S. (01:43:19) Mostly we learned that we need to give effort and the revelation will come when it comes. How in Sukkot it determines that on the 8th day the Creator reveals. What can we learn from this?
R. We need to learn from the actions of the Creator that there's nothing greater than the connection between us and that all of His desire is that the created beings will come closer to Him. That happens according to the equivalence of form.
61. S. (01:43:58) I understand that in all the happiness in all the holidays we mark the revelation of the Creator in new degrees and you mentioned that our joy is not….. What is the joy that we are now in our state?
R. We’re in joy, you, from having this small lumination that connects us to Gmar Tikkun, end of corrections, we have a small lumination that is connecting us all into one vessel. In this vessel there's an illumination from the Creator not light but an illumination but it’s still there and this all holds us a bit more above this world above this life, that's why we’re happy and we feel that we have a future.
62. S. (01:45:04) How do the Kabbalists express the joy of their work to the outside?
R. Kabbalists don't express their joy on the outside, there's no need for it. What they do is they disseminate as much as possible and also carefully in order to not spoil people, just like we don’t let's say we don't give a kid let’s say he’s one year old we don't give them food that suits a five year old, or you don't teach him something that he can’t grasp in his mind or his feelings. Everything has its time.
63. S. (01:45:56) How to keep the joy constantly in the work?
R. That's through the connection between the friends, that each and every one gets inspired and reveals that to the others, then we’re all in happiness.
64. S. (01:46:18) What does it mean that we feel the coming near and the coming far to feel the friends from the inside?
R. I don't know what to say, again.
S. What does it mean that we feel how much we can come closer or farther in the way that we feel the friends from the inside?
R. We constantly have to be as close as we can along through that along with it we’ll reveal how far we still are because there’s always one thing revealed and its opposite.
65. S. (01:47:20) What does it mean to feel ourselves as one? Does it mean to feel the qualities of the friends inside me?
R. Yes, we always feel inside us meaning from the incorporation of the Parzufim, Sefirot, qualities. If I feel someone I don't feel him I feel the way he influences me as much as his Partzuf influences and incorporates in me, that's what I feel that’s called friend ……. that's why as much as we incorporate in one another more and more by this we will become closer incorporated until we reach one vessel.
66. S. (01:48:17) It’s not quite clear what is this awakening from below and none else besides Him. Does this awakening also need to be in His authority and where are we?
R. We are all on our way towards the corrections.
