Lesson on the topic of “Connecting into One Soul”

1. Rav’s Introduction: (00:14) We are before Pesach, this is a very special time, very worthy of connection and rising above the will to receive, to the desire to bestow and we will also learn accordingly the excerpts that are before us and we will try to ask and talk in that direction. Reading Excerpt #7 (00:50) “The body with its organs are one..” Twice.

2. S. (04:46) Can we interpret that an organ is a friend in the ten?

R. You can also do that because the ten is one whole body and each and every friend that leaves the connection with the rest of the friends resembles the organs from the body that's cut off and if he reconnects to his group to his ten, then it is is as if the doctor made the Creator the operator the friends comes back and reconnects the organ to the body.

3. S. (05:48) How can we operate together with this doctor with the Creator to truly reconnect us to this body like the rest of its organs?

R. As usual you need to address the doctor and ask him to connect it and the doctor will tell you that it will cost you this and that amount and quality of exertion and if you do that on his behalf you will also commit to bring back its organ to its place.

S. There's this feeling now as if we are these organs working and trying alone and not managing to connect. We are turning to the doctor and can't turn to him correctly in order to get an answer?

R. It is because we are still on the way and we are learning how to turn to The Creator correctly and how to turn to the doctor correctly. We need to know how to address him so that really all of us together are asking the doctor, the Creator to connect us together and then he would not be able to refuse and we'll connect between us and then in the connection between us we will feel like a whole body that feels reality.

4. S. (07:32) What is the meaning that an organ is differentiated from the body if we are all in the same system?

R. We are not in the same system we need to assemble this system that is called Adam. If we connect between us and want to reach a connection between us that is similar to the Creator then we are in this system of Adam. If we won't be able to connect between us in such a whole way we won't be called Adam and our system wants to be whole.

5. S. (08:36) At what stage of the exit from Egypt are we really beginning to feel the friends?

R. To the extent to which we distance from our ego we come closer to the desire to bestow between us. What one depends on the other and how does this happen? Just as we learn that if we rise above our ego, our desires, connect and are aimed more towards the Creator. This is how we come to a state to be connected with a desire, to mutually bestow to the Creator and prompt us all with this desire to bestow to the Creator. That's it, that's called from the love of the friends, to the love of the Creator.

6. S. (09:51) What does it mean that the organ feels what the body needs? What does the body need from each and every one of us?

R. If we are incorporated in one another and we connect above our egos we start to truly feel the totality or the generality of our body which is called the soul. And this is how we start to feel in it. He who is in it, who fills it.

S. What does he need from each and every one of us?

R. Each of us needs to think about the connection with his friends or her friends. That's it, only that.

7. S. (10:53) What is this one soul? I can't come to this deficiency for it? What is its quality?

R. They are all of our desires that would be aimed mutually to want another and this is how we connect between us all these desires that want to bestow to one another become one soul. And in it we feel our one root which is the Creator.

There is lots of pain, so I am just wondering: is this pain from the longing to be together with everyone and not being able to be with everyone? Or is it just that Pharaoh is playing games with me? So how to understand this very, very difficult state that there is at the moment?

R. I need to try and connect with my ten and in this attempt, in this way I attain all the discernments that are necessary for connecting everyone with everyone. I learn in my little group, in my individual ten about all together everyone, all humanity. And when I learn that, it turns out that I know all of creation. And from that I will learn how I connect to everyone and I can connect everyone in me, and that's how we advance until we will be as one man in one heart. We learn all of this only in the ten.

9. S. (13:42) There's a clear feeling of sickness, it already exists and the desire to heal is also there. What do we need to add in the work in the tens so the doctor will hear us and heal us?

R. We need to do what the doctor says, meaning to unite between us above all the disturbances and then we come to the corrected state. It is a simple thing. There is nowhere to be confused.

10. S. (14:35) I would like to know what is the role for the soul where there is a body with organs connected?

R. The soul feels what's happening in the body and if the body connects all of its organs then that soul can receive light from the Creator and to feel through that the whole body.

S. The body needs to be completely connected?

R. No even to the smallest extent, even in the smallest way because our connection is a gradual connection in which we slowly slowly, piece by piece connect ourselves, one- to- one, one- to- one more and more. And this is how we enter the spiritual life.

11. S. (16:08) The separate part no longer knows anything about the whole and loses its direction, so how can each of our experiences help us to always understand everyone?

R. Only through connection is it clear. Each and everyone of us is a very small part of the soul, if we connect ourselves together then we feel more and more the whole of the soul, and that's how we return to spiritual life just like we were prior to the sin of Adam HaRishon.

S. How can we make the separated part feel more unity, to feel more united?

R. They need to do what we learn in which we need to connect in the tens and in the tens attain connection between them and to pray and ask for connection so that the Creator will correct it and fill him and this is how they reach the solution.

12. S. (17:58) Can we take a sort of measure of connection?

R. We need to have a certain degree of our ego that we can actually, how should I say this, that we can manage it. If we want to step on it a little and be united between us, above the ego, then we will succeed, then we will succeed.

13. S. (19:05) Kabbalists say that we don't need to restrict our corporeal desires and we can continue to spend time on them, but I don't feel like this. I feel like I want to come to a position of wanting to feel that you can only read excerpts and partaking in lessons and connecting with the friends. What is this feeling?

R. We need to do everything that can help us connect in order to learn the nature of creation, the nature of the Creator and the possibilities to connect, the laws of the spiritual creation. We need all of that, we need to do all of that, that's it. And to try as much as possible to nevertheless be immersed in studying the spiritual laws.

14. S. (20:21) You once said that if my friends are not yet in spirituality then it means that I am not asking enough for them from the Creator, but if I am constantly praying for the friends how can I know that I asked enough and that they already are in spirituality?

R. Do it and you will discover, you will feel it.

15. S. (20:58) If when I try to connect with the ten some of the friends reject and hate me such that it's best that I wouldn't connect to not evoke hatred in the ten. What to do and how to ask for connection?

R. With all the words that you can demand and ask for connection. We have no more than a connection that we need to attain and that's where we will reveal the Creator.

16. S. (21:38) The body has a system of alerts which is called immense pain even something that is so simple like something happens like a fingernail that really hurts you. So how can we augment this sensitivity in the ten?

R. We can increase it through the connection between us as we talk about it and then it will rise in each and every one of us several fold this sensitivity for corruption and desires for corrections.

17. S. (22:43) What happens when you're happy for the friends, for the ten and yet at the same time you feel emptiness and fear, what should one do?

R. He should try and connect with the friends even more and from there you will receive filling.

18. S. (23:28) We are a ten that works silently and doesn't ask you many questions. Last week we went through something, we had a certain fight. I separated from the friends for three days because of my ego and it truly broke our hearts. We cried the whole time, so it's truly a state of life not having any taste any more. We've been working with you for three years. Is this the real connection that we are feeling in our tens now?

R. No, I am not talking about that connection. The connection I am talking about it's the one that is above our egos and above our calculations in which we want to be united, connected in such a way that there's no differences between us. We all feel in one heart everyone. It's that connection that we are talking about.

S. This was something that we had for the first time. We were so surprised, but we were able to overcome it.

19. S. (25:40) How can we know this spiritual nature If I know that I am connected with the friends, if I'm sitting reading excerpts etc.? Does it happen on its own through the light or do we do it? What is to learn the spiritual nature?

R. This happens through the connection between us where we are all egoists, but when each of us overcomes this ego in order to be united with others then this is what we want to come to and that is where we feel upon the connection, the lack of connection between us that we connect and feel the connection and in this we feel the Creator.

20. S. (26:49) I have this question: I have this feeling that sometimes the egoistic connection when friends connect, well simply on the basis of friendship, acquaintance for many years where sometimes it is something that really bothered the advancement of spirituality of spiritual connection?

R. To the extent in which we connect it's very important for us also the unification of this connection, the quality of it, not just its power and this is something that we need to pay attention to, yes it is very important. How I connect, who I am connecting with, why I am connecting, for the sake of what, for what goal I am connecting, all those things are important. Altogether, this needs to be our connection which is similar to the connection of the Creator with us to the extent in which we come closer to it, to one another.

21. S. (28:08) It works out from what is written that the body is a corrected part meaning the corrected only feels the other corrected and the part that is separated we don't feel it?

R. Yes and we will talk about this.

22. S. (28:40) Can the reforming light operate on part of the ten, because we know that only the Creator decides?

R. The Creator decides according to our decision. We decide with our desire who will receive more and who will receive less according to our desire. Therefore, don't think that this can be just like that according to the will of the Creator, it is all going according to our exertion, only according to our exertion.

23. S. (29:36) This desire for connection, this prayer that we make it's as if I can only do it by really really wanting. It is like I put a ring around the friend and I have no other moves left in me other than just to want for it like, it is the thing you want most in the world. I can only hang on to it for a few seconds because it is so intense and I have to back away. Does this sound about right?

R. It is written that envy, lust and honor take a person out of this world meaning to rise from the egoistic world of ours to the spiritual world, we can through envy, lust and honor. Try to work in all of those only in order to rise to a higher degree.

24. S. (31:30) How can we build by intention of bestowal? How can we reach this intention above our egoistic nature?

R. By the connection with the friends first of all. If you connect with the friends you will also have the ability there to understand how I can rise even higher towards the Creator.

25. S. (32:17) In the ten there are friends that express their feelings more, their sensations and there are those that don’t, can this be in asking for them all to be expressed or also quiet is it okay and we can accept this quiet as an expression?

R. It is better to annul oneself, to annul oneself.

S. The question was if we should talk or not, if we should be quiet is better or to talk?

R. We need to accept everyone and then create conditions in which they will be able to rise spiritually. That is our task. One will help his friend and then everything will be excellent and fast.

28. S. (35:41) How to give the impression to the friends to want to reveal the Creator? What do they need to hear in order to invest the efforts in connection?

S. Such an attitude towards creation makes a person a true servant of the Creator?

R. Yes, if you bring yourself back to one body with all the created beings then certainly from this you correct yourself.

32. S. (42:36) Can we call our connection or compare our connection in the ten such that each thinks that the Ten needs to care for this connection like a mother who cares for her son? Can we make such a comparison?

R. In essence, yes. In principle, yes, of course.

33. S. (43:10) What exactly is to be inside my friends? Will I actually feel his desires as I feel my desires? Will I know what my friend wants from the Creator so that I can take it from the Creator and give it to him?

R. Yes, yes.

41. S. (48:54) Are we ready to incorporate with all of the created beings or first of all we need to be in incorporation in the ten?

R. We need to first incorporate it in the ten. Otherwise we won't have any foundation, no base to incorporate with all of the created beings, clear?

42. S. (49:56) About the organs when we talk about organs are we relating to the parts of the souls?

R. Yes, yes the parts of the souls.

43. S. (50:25) In excerpt number 8 it speaks about the connection with the Shechina. What is necessary for the connection with the Shechina?

R. Connection is necessary all the way to the extent of love.

S. It says at the end of the excerpt to raise everything to the root for the correction of the Shechina? What, is there some kind of continuation of the connection?

R. Yes, of course.

S. Self first connection and then we raise the connection?

R. Yes.

44. S. (51:19) How could it be that we will all ask to be connected with all of the created beings should we all ask first for those who are close to this by this they will raise all of us?

R. We cannot ask why it is not realistic. It is realistic to only ask for the ten.

R. These are different actions.
