Baal HaSulam. The Teaching of the Kabbalah and Its Essence (Four Languages Are Used in the Wisdom of Truth)
1. R. (00:26) Yes in the relationship with the Creator, and also between us, we have such conduits or pipelines called languages. The truth is that it is a very deep matter, a matter of language, that we can communicate to each other, and thus come closer to each other, incorporate with each other, but let us see what he writes, it is not that simple as it seems to us, these four languages.

(04:03) The language of the Bible is the most ancient and it is seemingly, basically closer to us in a sense that we can understand the literal meaning, but the question is, who are these four languages for? Who are they intended for, ordinary people? Or for people that are already at least having a desire to connect to the upper force, the source of reality, or just your ordinary people like some nice literature. How should we relate to the wisdom of Kabbalah and like he writes in the title here, four languages are used in the truth, meaning the attainment of the Creator, the attainment of true reality.
So these four languages, all of them, they are part that is included in the wisdom of Kabbalah, in the attainment of the Creator and it's not that one explains to us something that has to do with some stories, and another one is about history and the other thing is about some psychology and only the language of Kabbalah belongs to to the hidden language, no, rather all these languages, all of them discuss the revelation of the Creator to the created beings, except it is in various styles, degrees, aspects, but they are all talking about what is hidden from us.

4. R. (08:34) So there is another form of expression of our system of connection with the Creator called the language of the Bible, then there is also the language of laws, legends, and other languages, so what is a language? It is a mechanism of connection between us and the Creator.
5. S. (09:07) What is a disadvantage of the language of the Bible, what is he saying there, what does he mean you can clarify any particular detail?
R. He writes this from his height and he therefore he explains this in a concise manner, so he tells us that in the language of the Bible, these things cannot be communicated and it is mostly a connection between root and branch and it is a relatively easy language in the sense that anyone can read it, the question is how much they attain it. The most ancient language, look at what he writes, and also the holy tongue and a relationship to Adam HaRishon, what's written, all of that is included in the language of the Bible.
S. But the disadvantage he says, I don't understand.
R. You cannot attain after the language of the Bible the connection to the Creator, these languages gradually developed and connected with humanity, or more accurately humanity got involved with them, and we are then in states where we begin to come closer to the attainment of the Creator.

6. S. (13:11) What does it mean that the language of the Bible presents a topic in a complete form?
R. That is how this language tells us, about all of creation in a general way.
7. S. (13:41) All the languages and the descriptions of the wisdom of Kabbalah and the Bible [not translated]
R. The tongue is not our tongue, it is not the speech, it is rather a conduit or a channel for which we can connect. Let’s say before that, let’s say in the past you didn't have the ability to communicate through radio waves and the like and now you do, so you have another form of communication, so it is just that these four languages of communication is not that we take them from technology, but from the understanding of man's soul, man’s connection to the spiritual world, and therefore that is how we express it, we have four languages. You could say maybe that stems from the four levels of coarseness, of the will to receive, I would say yes, yes.
S. Well let us say a Kabbalist is in attainment of that same system of Adam HaRishon and there is a different person that he wants to pass it to, so how does he use a certain language to pass his feelings? How does that channel work?
R. You see this in our tongue, in our days, on us. Look at how we want to attract people to study the connection between us and the Creator, and then by developing this connection between us and the Creator, they discover in what way they build that connection, and in our connection basically all these languages are already there because each and every language is a certain, unique limitation on the connection between us and the Creator. We will see that soon, we will see that here soon.

8. R. (17:50) Meaning every language somewhat helps us to connect to the upper force and is also limited and obviously the limitations are because of our nature.

10. R. (21:02) So here there is an order of the way the wisdom passes and an order of passing the language, and only in the language of the Kabbalists we can really reach attainment and understanding of what we have or in what we have an ability to attain.

11. R. (23:19) So the language of Kabbalah includes everything in it, it is general and it explains everything we want. Through it we can reach the attainment of truth in a complete manner.
