Introduction to the Zohar: Item 14
1.Rav’s Introduction: In Item 14 Baal HaSulam explains to us as it says, as it says here, thus you will necessarily find here that on the whole there are three states to the soul. Then he explains to us that there is a first state, second state and third state. All in all, this is what the whole of creation has to go through from its beginning to its end, three states. The third state is to the end of this whole process, the end. This is where it happens, where they already have the future form of the end of correction. And there is nothing that is from the first, and second and third state which is by chance.
Rather all of these states necessarily emerge from one another. The first state is their presence in Ein Sof, the thought of creation in the beginning where they already have the future form of the end of correction. This is called ‘the end result is in the initial thought’. The second state is their existence during the 6000 years which were divided by the above two systems into a body and a soul that is the whole of creation is divided into two, the body Guf and Nefesh, soul. We already know that it is not really years, it's not body or soul or whatever we may depict to ourselves. It is something special always that we have to study, to try and understand it and we need to try to attain it and depict to ourselves correctly what all of these things are. This is where it happens where they already have the future form of the end of correction and there is nothing that is from the first, second and third state which is by chance, rather all of these states necessarily emerge from one another. They were given those souls for the work in Torah and Mitzvot, and we need to scrutinize what is Torah and Mitzvot in order to invert the will to receive which you need to discover what it is and to turn it into a will to bestow contentment upon their maker.
That is that the whole will to receive that becomes revealed in us that we only want to enjoy in ourselves. We have to invert, to turn it into the will to bestow contentment and not to their maker and not to themselves.
During that time, the time of that state, no correction will come to the bodies meaning we talked about the created beings divided into body and soul and so we correct only what is called the soul. This means that during that time of these 6000 years, no correction will come to the bodies only to the souls. This means that they must eliminate from within them any form of self-reception which is considered the body. This is what it is called, that we remain with the desire to bestow. This is what we have to do throughout the 6000 years. That is a certain period of time this is how the souls correct only the will to receive in them so it will be in order to bestow. that this is the form of desire in the soul. Even the souls of the righteous will not be able to rejoice in the Garden of Eden after their demise but only after their bodies have completely rotted in the dust. This too, we have to scrutinize what are all these words, to rot in the dust, what are the souls of the righteous, not just a soul, what is the Garden of Eden as there are many things here. Each and every word requires a very elaborate and deep explanation. However, this is really the second state. There are souls which are divided into body and soul so we need to correct the bodies within them. The third state is the end of the correction of the souls after the revival of the dead and at that time the complete correction will come to the bodies, also. When they souls have corrected, the souls within them now, the bodies become corrected so then they will turn reception for themselves which is the form of the body, the will to receive, reception for oneself, will take on the form of pure bestowal so the body which is the will to receive will also become a will to bestowal, that they will become worthy of receiving for themselves all the delights. pleasure, pleasantness in the thought of creation. With all of that, they will attain strong Dvekut, adhesion so that even though the vessel of the will to receive will grow in them along with that they will attain Dvekut (adhesion). That is the will to receive in them will grow and become filled with all of the pleasantness and pleasure, all of the delights that come from the Creator will not separate between them and Him. They will attain strong Dvekut by the force of their equivalence of form with their maker. Since they will not receive all of this because of their desire to receive only but because of their desire to bestow contentment upon their maker since He, the Creator derives pleasure when they receive from him from that pleasure that they can bestow to the Creator so is the extent of the pleasure they can be so to the Creator. For the extent of brevity, we will use the names of the three states as first, second and third state and you will remember as Baal HaSulam writes for us, all that is explained here in each and every state. This is how we should advance. Yesterday we had a meal, a Kabbalist meal and we talked about how the Kabbalists depict to themselves the end of correction, the third state, when we are all connected together in a single desire and we along with that we are in bestowal to the Creator and we are in adhesion with him according to the equivalence of form with him and this is actually the state that we are yearning for to be as one man and one heart and all of us together should receive the Creator who is together with us. This is how we depict to ourselves the most desirable state possible to which we actually aim ourselves each and every moment and all of us together between us and to the Creator.
2. S. (09:25) Baal HaSulam gives us a flow chart that includes all of reality?
R. It's not something too complicated, it's the 3 states: the beginning, the middle and the end.
S. Can you give a picture from a bird's-eye view of these three states and kind of give a clear picture of where we are?
R. I can only draw the chart. It is very simple (Rav Drawing) as this is the first state, I will call it one. and from it emerges the second state and then reaches the third state. Here we have the second state and there are no more than these three states. The person reaches the beginning of the study of the wisdom of Kabbalah, that he is drawn to it is considered that he is in the first state, that we need to connect and inside our ego in order to connect. There, inside our ego in order to connect, we also discover according to the measure of the connection between us we discover the connection with the Creator because this is called the totality, everything that we attain is that we attain Him. This is the first state. The second state is that we progress in such a way towards our corrections until we reach the end of correction which is the third state, this is the state that we desire, this is why yesterday I remind you again that we had our meal and we spoke about that we are trying to depict to ourselves of being in the final connection between us and also with the Creator together and the symbol to that is the meal. This is how Kabbalist described to us.
S. What motivates this process forward?
R. The fact that we receive each time more and more advanced states that are more divided, more broken and the shattering becomes revealed more until we complete the whole shattering with the complete correction. The more that we advance, the more shattering is revealed, however we already have experience with it because we've been through a part of the path so we are capable of correcting it in more advanced and complex manners and this is how we advance, this is typical in our life. Just like with our children we buy them all kinds of building blocks so that they can put one on top of the other and later on we buy them some pieces from the house so they can put together for building. Our working principle is the same work of connecting between us and building from the desire of ten people, usually we do it in groups of ten because this matches the spiritual vessel. So, ten people that gather and want to connect they build between them a desire that each time becomes established and shaped together.
S. Where is humanity on this map?
R. Humanity has a different calculation on this map, this chart of one, two and three as we only have the souls that receive the desire to work, a desire to connect and against these desires to connect is the revelation of the ego so there is something upon which to work. Here it only applies to the special souls which, let's say it is our whole grade international group, thousands of people that we have with that inclination to reach from state one to state and then into state three.
S. Where is our world group on this map?
R. We can't stay where in which particular point, I would say that it is to some extent, here it is not exactly a point because we have already gone through some way and we have people here who have come a while ago but they don't feel they are advancing or how they are advancing. They don't know yet, even though they don't know, it is like children, let's say who are born in this world. They don't know where they are and what is happening in this world for the first few years until let's say the age of 10 or 15. Even more than that they don't know what is happening they just do whatever they are told to do and this is how they advance until that say the age of 20, from the age of 20 and onward they already begin to enter into a place where it is more aware. So, we can't say where we are, in general we are on the way and that maybe we went through 20% of the way in general.
` S. The red highlight there, of course, has several layers or circles.
R. It is seemingly smeared over an interval.
S. Can you explain in words what the red is?
R. The red are the desires that are in some connection with a certain intensity of connection and in this connection, we want to advance more and eventually until we will reach the final state but along with us on the path, if we might say so, we are influencing the great cloud which is the whole of humanity and it is going along with us also in that we are influencing them, bestowing to them. They are doing this work but they are not aware of it, unconsciously, it is if they are coming closer and speaking about it, some are very close to us and are interested. It is the distance between us, not quite a distance as there is those who are very close and there are those who are further away and there are those who are very far from us. According to how much we move, they also are with us. Some truly accompany us as they look into our internet contents and correspond with us, asking questions, some are less than that. They have only heard about us having a book of ours and this is how they connect to us. There are many different forms of connection and eventually the more we advance, we will see the changes in the world around us that is in the life of humanity with the entire process of development, disappointments and all kinds of problems, coronavirus and all different kinds of other crises. Humanity takes into consideration and calculates, more and more, what am I living for as this is what the person asks as they search for an answer and find it. Besides as we advance according to our advancements here, according to that we influence and surround the surrounding light, Ohr Makif which influences the whole of humanity and they begin to discover first the questions of what they are living for and why am I living, which also comes because the world is going through different crisis but also because we are spreading around us such an illumination. It turns out that the state of the world is becoming more negative and also a positive illumination from us more and more in these two influences, these two opposite influences are bringing them closer to us. For them, the question the purpose in our life becomes more conspicuous as each one is asking and we can explain to them that we are actually in the process of creation moving from state number one to state number two into the third and final stage where we will all be connected together with the upper force in an infinite manner.
S. There are two parallel axis?
R. They are accompanying us, they don't have their own axis of development. They develop according to the extent they come close and participate with us.
S. Their development depends upon ours?
R. Yes, of course. These are the souls that don't have the desire to move into the adhesion of the Creator, where it is for us those who comment enter our group are those who have the desire to understand and to attain what am I living for’? There are people who live without asking what I am living for and there are those who do ask and they come to us.
S. What determines our pace of development in the 3 states?
R. The pace of our developments depends upon the extent to which the Creator from the end of correction, from the third state, shines upon us and then we feel our state as worse because we are in the opposite in our desire from Him. Where our desire to receive and he is the desire to bestow when he shines more, we feel worse, so that feeling that we are feeling worse awakens us to search for a reason of why we are feeling bad and then we overcome our ego and we come closer to him necessarily. Either without waiting for him to shine on us we develop by ourselves a will to receive so that it will be drawn to him and therefore our progress here includes two forms. The first state is called the way of the light or the path of Torah and the other state is called the path of suffering. So, it turns out that we advance either through this or through that and the whole of humanity according to us accompanies us. As more and more humanity connects to us, more souls become scrutinized and sorted until we all reach the final states, the end of correction. Eventually we all reach the end of correction, we all reach the single connection is one man and one heart as this is what it is called end in that we all connect to the Creator and He fulfills us as the third state.
What happened beyond the third state, we are not talking about it because we also don't have the language with the words or the possibility to explain these things that exist beyond the complete correction. It is just like a physicist who can't explain beyond what happens at the speed of light. There are all kinds of theories, but beyond that we don't have words, we don't have the feeling, we can't feel or taste these things because it is beyond our emotion and mine. We are built as Rambam writes, this whole world is built below the speed of light and therefore above it we can't. We can understand it through the wisdom of Kabbalah, after the speed of light we have a vessel, we have the ability to work inside the vessel to put it together to correct it and accordingly the vessel is filled. However, when the vessel is already entirely corrected and it is filled with the light of infinity meaning that the Creator is connected with the created being and they exist in the third stage, what can be above that? On the other hand, we might say theoretically that if we correct ourselves, if we exist in a connection with the Creator where all of our desires are corrected then we reach some degree of the real life and there we can live and research and understand. However, in the meantime we can't as we don't have such qualities by which we will be able to research and investigate those states and to advance in such a way. Gradually we will understand as the Kabbalist gives us a few hints along the way but we don't have an approach to that as we don't understand exactly what is happening along the axis of one, two and three.
S. When do the green and red clouds connect into one?
R. On the entire axis, it depends upon how much we will disseminate. This is our problem, here, to create actions of dissemination to bestow from above down, meaning from our state to the state of humanity and this is why now as we are beginning to advance for certain toward the third state and we understand and feel this, we need more and more to awaken ourselves towards dissemination. To explain to the whole world in which direction we are developing and we explain this through whatever is happening to us and to all of humanity. Why does this exist and go through such unpleasant states and this is necessary for it to be in such a way as a person who develops personally feels it even more pressures however the pressure is that he feels are correcting him toward the goal but humanity doesn't understand it to the extent they are incorporated with each with us receive in illumination called Ohr Makif, with that they begin to understand more and more what is happening.
S. Where is the interface between the two clouds of the red and the green?
R. Where do they meet?
S. Where do they become one cloud?
R. This depends upon our dissemination but there is constant diffusion from the green cloud to the red cloud and this is why we sometimes grow more or less depending on the surrounding conditions around us according to the good and bad that are revealed in the world.
S. How do we bestow surrounding light to humanity?
R. By us talking, connecting with them, by us having lectures or starting lessons, mostly through the internet is our dissemination. By that they began even though they don't quite know what we are talking about but somehow the illumination spreads throughout all of humanity. Even if we do nothing, there is a certain influence from us to all of humanity because they and also us belong to a single desire to receive that the Creator created. Therefore, out of the fact that we exist in a single system they get an illumination from us, however if we are doing it in a directed manner through dissemination and explanation then by this, we are truly hastening our development.
S. What is the purpose of humanity as compared to ours?
R. It is a part of the vessel and they carry the great will to receive, we are just the intention, just the thought and the more that we have the intention towards the end of correction and the more that they connect to us with their great desire then we arrive as a single vessel towards the end of correction. It cannot be that we by ourselves will advance unless we connect with them, otherwise for what purpose do we have an intention as it has to reside upon the desire to receive and manage it. Therefore, we should constantly be concerned about humanity, that it will also stand and feel where they are and go through the same process that we are going through.
S. You said before that the Creator shines upon us from the third state. What does he shine on us towards our present state?
R. The light of the end correction shining on us and pulling us towards the goal and in that light the more we are opposite to it, that we exist in our ego that we feel a negative influence, the more from that negative influence can we shift into a positive influence which is our ego, our desire to receive we will invert into a desire to come closer between us to the desire to bestow. Accordingly, we will fill the light shining on us as a good light and this is how we advance.
S. How can we perceive the light of the final corrections that exist right now in the present state?
R. It exists here, what we lack is the vessels to perceive it, the field of upper light that is filling the whole of humanity and the glory fills the world, this exists everywhere and nothing is hidden from him. However, the person to what extent is matching that illumination, according to his qualities and the qualities of the light it is entirely bestowing. To the extent that 1% you make out of yourself a giver, we normally do in groups as the Kabbalists advise us, it's so in the 10, we want to resemble in the relations between us and mutual bestowing toward the upper light that is shining upon us then we begin to feel that he is shining and then we start to work with it in a way that it is as “I to my beloved and my beloved to me” in mutual bestowing.
S. In the introduction to the Zohar, what we're reading talks about the first state being the development of the world and the second being the state of corrections of the world?
R. It is not that we are in the first state but there are those who are just beginning to the first state, just getting into BB, there are those who are more advanced, they are already here in that small state of number 2 and feel that we will advance. Don’t want to mark each one, how each one is here in each moment changing as we are constantly advancing through one to three.
3. S. (34:12) Did not understand what is the difference between the 1st and the 3rd state?
R. It is simple, the first state, you are a complete egoist it is the beginning of creation and the third state, your whole egoistic desire to receive has been inverted to the desire to bestow, in all of your desire that you do is only to bestow to others and in that you are similar to the Creator, to the point that you are included in the Creator, in the third state.
4. S. (35:02) The third state of the end of correction is this for the whole world or for the 10 or for an individual person or all the same?
R. Everyone becomes included in the Creator which means in the desire to bestow that connects us, that binds us. But certainly, in the third state, we each receive what we deserve to receive based on the root of our soul. Then we are aimed in such a way that no one can avoid the final state, in the very final state all of us entirely receive the exact same state and there's no difference between the righteous and the villains, the wise and the ignorant, the lazy and the diligent. We all become as ‘one man and one heart’.
S. The end of the correction of my10 will happen at the same time as the whole world Kli, or the whole world?
R. In history, there are Kabbalists who achieved all the way to the final correction. There is the personal, private, final correction which means that a single individual soul goes through the entire. path and achieves the corrected state, almost a corrected state. There were such souls who did that and then there were other souls who stopped somewhere which means they advanced. Everyone is advancing towards the third state but there are many different states along the way. Ultimately everyone must achieve the third stage.
S. What is the second state?
R. The second state, I didn't draw it correctly. I think I should show it differently, (Rav draws it differently) meaning it is everything between one and three, it is the whole process that we go through. The first state is the initial beginning state and the second state is all of the corrections and the third state is the final correction.
5. S. (38:20) About the drawing, you said there are people who are closer. Speaking about the green cloud, they are close to us, even listening to our lessons are coming closer because of something that is happening in practice. What turns red to green?
R. Red means humanity in its will to receive, some that are closer or farther from us depending on the intensity and style and the magnitude of their desire, what kind of questions that they ask and what kind of different answers they are capable of receiving from us, from our explanation and coming closer to us, are confused with all kinds of theories and all kinds of spiritual methods. All of that is humanity.
S. What turns from green to red?
R. Red means point in the hearts, that each and every person has a desire and within that desire there is a point, the red this is what we call ‘the point in the heart’, it is a yearning towards the Creator now the person doesn't necessarily understand that it is a yearning for the Creator but the point is there. Then there is the desire itself which attracts the person into all sorts of directions, scattering the person's focus, not letting him really advance towards the Creator, towards in order to bestow. This is what each and every person is made of these two desires. This comes to us from the shattering of the fundamental original vessel called Adam where the desire used to be Adam. That the Creator created the complete desire that was in adhesion with the Creator but then He shattered it deliberately to divide it into many pieces, we normally called that ‘six hundred thousand pieces’ and then there are many more pieces of those pieces where each one has a similar structure. A big desire that wants all sorts of pleasure, you can call this ego or the egoistic desire. Also, an inclination towards the Creator and these two desires are in each person, what happened to yours the Creator shines upon us from the final correction, a unique illumination and that light in its intensity advances and brings closer some of the souls and some less.
It is like a magnet, like you put a magnet above the pieces of metal some of them begin to somewhat move toward the magnet upward, this is how we move towards the final correction from the light that comes there. The people that already feel to some extent this illumination, the influence of this light I begin to feel restless and look for why am I alive, what am I looking for, because the light shines from the final state, from the final correction and if they can find somewhere to get closer to that, they find us and come to us. Others don't feel that yet it is like those pieces of metal that some start moving towards the magnet faster than others so if we do dissemination on our part through the internet and other places, we help them to awaken and we uncover the point in the heart that awakened in each and every one. That is how they come closer to us and we come closer to the final correction. The more people that come closer to us and the more that we can bring everyone together in love and to embrace them, and to bring everyone closer to the final correction, the faster we save ourselves from all of the troubles, the kind of progress that doesn't happen by the path of light that shines. Rather by the path of darkness because we have two forms of progress, either one or two, this is how we can advance, one is called the path of light, the path of Torah and the other is called the path of suffering.
6. S. (45:16) In two are there limitations on the body for the Kabbalists who also relate revealed 125 degrees?
R. The limitations are there because we can't advance without them, the limitations don't come from above, the from above comes the light. The limitations awaken from the broken desire that exists in each and every one, this is what happens to us.
7. S. (46:08) The first and the third state are above time?
R. Yes.
S. Those are two big points of beginning and end. So, can we say the second stage will divide into two one as the evolution until the correction and then from the moment we enter the spiritual degrees of correction?
R. No, the second state begins from, let's say 5800 years ago, when spiritual evolution began for those who live in this world. Before that we don't take the creation into account here because it didn't have the ability to move in the axis of time, spiritual time, that is, did not exist because the light did not descend on the pieces of creation to start bringing them closer and to correct them. There was rather a long evolution of billions of years that you can count those years but we have no interest in that from a spiritual perspective of the correction.
S. It is clear so where is this part on the axis?
R. It is not on the access right now because it represents only spiritual development. We don't take into account here these still, vegetative, animate levels because they don't have their own development. As it is written they rise and fall according to man.
8. S. (48:10) Thanks Rav, for the very special studies and these excerpts.
R. Perhaps you don't remember but we have begun our study, let's say, a year-and-a-half ago in this new style.
S. With the excerpts on different styles?
R. Yes, because I saw many people were joining us and I wanted to bring everyone to the same kind of level, the same standard. So, I didn't see something else that could help us to both understand the wisdom of Kabbalah in general and also our path in it and how we need to work on connecting in the group, only in this form of excerpts that we take from our sources which are mostly Baal HaSulam and Rabash and other great Kabbalists as well. In this way, we get to know what they wrote and what we need to do and we advance together so those who are veterans, those who are new they balance out. We mostly receive an urge to connect between us and this is why this is happening, thankfully.
S. Now we are established after a year-and-a-half?
R. Yes, we are able today to discuss TES and Zohar and the introductions, and all of the material of the wisdom of Kabbalah in an equal way. There is always a difference from one to the other as each one has a different kind of soul, but the general perception, let's say, is in everyone. Other than that, we will advance and ask questions and we will see how we all help each other it all depends on man's desire only in, if he understands how to use his desire correctly how to cancel himself and connect with the others and in connection with the others to discover the spirituality, then there he will find the Creator and the upper world.
S. Where does the correction of the bodies begin, are together?
R. The third state is the end of correction of the souls after the revival of the dead, meaning that there is a path of correction called the revival of the dead, and then the complete correction will come to the bodies, also, meaning the desire to receive. For them it will turn, as he writes. in the third state, the reception for themselves which is the form of the body to take on the form of pure bestowing.
S. This is part of the second state?
R. It is the end of the second state written about more in detail in the introduction.
S. What is the difference between the correction of the soul and the body?
R. I can't explain this, I also don't want to confuse you and your questions are not wise because let us begin to understand what the simple correction of the soul is and let us not jump to things besides names that we don't understand it all.
S. What is the correction of the soul in the simple way?
R. The corruption of the soul that we are working on now is to acquire vessels of bestowal and to build them upon the vessels of reception and this is called ‘the correction of the first 9 Sefirot in the Partzuf. A will to receive that also joins and works with the 9 Sefirot in a complete way, this is the final correction where the darkness shines as light but we don't have this discernment or know how we are built and divided. Where we do bestow or where we can bestow after the correction of the bodies, meaning after the correction of the desire to receive for itself. Our desire to receive right now can work in order to bestow by restricting itself and joining the upper force. This is the correction of the souls and then when we complete this kind of adhesion, we reach the state where the bodies are corrected to, meaning the will to receive itself we can make corrections in it also in order to bestow. There are no words for this, it is very difficult to communicate this and we could get confused. I prefer discussing safe states that I am certain didn't won't get confused about, so it is a good question but still not for us. There are corrections in rising to the level of Bina and there are corrections that are already in the degree of Malchut, corrections of AHP of ascent, and AHP of descent, we will gradually, with this introduction, understand it better.
9. S. (55:24) The effort that we make that creates a deficiency of new sparks of souls, does it define the speed in which they will awaken?
R. Clearly, our corrections in the 10s as we all come from one ten which is the structure of Adam, as we are all, pieces of that system. If each of us correct something in our personal 10 by connecting to our friends, then the 10 begins to be more active and also influences the other 10 in the system of Adam. Also, from that system, which is us Bnei Baruch, we also influence those who don't belong to the spiritual process of correction. Those who are here. (Points to drawing) First, it is desirable that you advance in your 10 and then from the 10 to disseminate the method of correction to all of humanity, as much as we can, by then if we bring closer to us and connect to us new desires and powers and this is how we advance faster towards the third state.
10. S. (57:33) We see that the whole access advances towards the end of correction in accordance, from the beginning of stage 1, can we learn or attain something from this thought?
R. We need to continue our corrections from the light that influences us from the third state. This is the light of the final correction. I don't know what to call that, it is the third state so that it shines on us from the third state.
S. In state 3, is there the thought of the creature that is similar to the quality of the Creator?
R. Everything there comes together and unites in the thought of creation to the benefit of created beings.
11. S. (58:45) To ask you about the 600,000 parts of people is this personal or somehow including a collection of?
R. That is, signs that we don't have an understanding of what 600,000 is and then there are other divisions and parts, there are a lot that we can't count. In the wisdom of Kabbalah, we talked about not the numbers themselves like in this world but the essence of these numbers. Meaning how we divide between us or unite between us in two opposite desires or connected desires. 600,000 is just a number that indicates to us that we are all separated and scattered. But it is not 600,000 per say it is many more, later we will understand what the numbers mean, it is the degree of 6 times 10 and 10 again. Why do Kabbalists say 600,000, don't cling to numbers as numbers in the wisdom represents the essence of a state.
12. S. (01:00:30) He says there are three states for the souls that already have the future form of the end of correction. What does that mean?
R. The future form of the final correction already exists because in spirituality there is no time, there are state and they states appear toward the person who attained and so there are people who are in the final correction and there are people who are before that and we speak about how we evolve from the broken state all the way to the corrected state.
S. That state in the upper world already exists?
R. Of course, it already exists and there's nothing that doesn't exist.
S. Meaning, we already exist in the upper world.?
R. We already exist in infinity as well.
S. When I draw these records, where do they come from in the upper world?
R. Yes.
S. So there is another me up there?
R. There is someone above you like you with your original archetype, that is much better than you, that is completely connected in love to everyone and as opposed to that below we have what we see in front of us.
S. A person, those who are studying with us, whether unpleasant things happen to them and it's saying that when a person passes from this state does he reincarnate into this world to continue?
R. It is an interesting question from those who think about themselves, but usually we don't speak about ourselves but the general process and the final correction for everyone which is what I am working on. Therefore, I don't think about myself.
S. Is this a general question?
R. With regards to your question there is no answer in the wisdom of Kabbalah, the correct question of a person is how do I bring everyone to the final correction, how to bring them forward as close to connection as possible?
S. The question we always ask is that there is no soul, you have to build your soul, so when we are talking about ourselves do, we already have one or not yet?

Also, Bnei Baruch is still included with the whole of humanity and we are influencing each other, we influence humanity and humanity influences us and the more our influence becomes more important and significant and the more that we influence humanity, humanity also, in return, will be able to influence us and themselves and this is how we have been. Also, in humanity there are different layers that have mutual influence between this layer and that layer, it is a living body. There are movements that are based on any influence of the surrounding light that comes from above, each and every soul changes in response, no one moves by itself, alone, that some desire awakens it. There's no such thing as the desire itself is completely passive, dead, only by influences from above from all directions whatever comes to the desire, by that it awakens and begins to play itself out.

R. R. Without the first state, the end state would not exist. It is all the more so when something is canceled in the second state, where there is all the work that is destined to be completed in the third state, the work in corruptions and corrections and the extensions of the degrees of the souls. S. Are we looking at only one angle in the state of wholeness?
R. We are not capable of grasping the completeness, we are not built this way. We will have an integral perspective on everything after we correct everything but, in the meantime, we are not capable.
31. S. (01:54:45) Do we understand that the third and the first state are the same according to the development of the second state?
R. The first and the third states are not the same. The first state is entirely corrupted from above and the third state is entirely corrected from below. They are not the same thing. He says they are all tied to one another, that they obligate and necessitate one another to emerge. Not that they are the same. The third state is the corrected state, either initially corrected by the Creator or that we reach it by our corrections. This is the third state. R. A person who rises to spiritual discernment feels his life becoming closer or more distant through the friends to the Creator and not past, present, and future according to the sun and moon in astronomical time. This for him are the states and time.
S. Is this whole process not one of time, but of coming closer to the Creator?
R. Yes. Six thousand years is not a measurement of time, but rather of states. The number six thousand refers to the correction of the Sefirot of the general body, the six Sefirot HGTNHY, joining Bina.

R. Ask a concrete question. Write the question down before you ask.

S. Does every part of the Soul go through these six thousand degrees?
R. Yes, each part goes through 6000 degrees. We don't count them so much. Some souls feel it more, some less, depending upon their work. They all go through it, either in their own part or by their incorporation in the connections between them.
S. Does corporeal time have anything to do with going through these degrees?
R. It is comfortable to think this way because it depicts the path a bit, but this is a copy from spirituality into corporeality. We speak of Adam HaRishon existing six thousand years ago, but there were humans before him. We also talk about reaching the end of correction in six thousand years, about what is going to happen with our corporeal world. Will we exist after that or not? Will it stop existing because we will all be corrected? Will we not see corporeality but only spirituality? Will this world rise in spirit? R. No, shame is not the reason for correction. It just shows us how much we need correction of our will to receive. I reveal shame correctly when the will to receive is revealed with the shame and I know what I must correct. If the will to receive is corrected without the sensation of shame I don't suffer from it and I don't correct it.

49. S. (02:24:37) What does it mean that we in the 10 have to advance in hastening every moment?
R. The main force between us is being drawn to one another. We are not paying attention to other things. We reach the greatest hastening through this mutual force of connection, as it is written, ‘love covers all transgressions. This is the entire matter.
S. What does it mean to turn everything into the force of mutual attraction?
R. That even in darkness we turn to the light, that darkness shall illuminate as light. This is how we need to work.
S. How?
R. We make the effort to overcome all desires and thoughts of alienation, and of the distancing of our ego. We turn to one another, connect, then turn to the Creator to receive the force of connection. There is nothing more to ask.
50. S. (02:26:27) When I see forces rather than my friends standing in front of me, is this the perception of the spiritual world?
R. This may be what you perceive, but don’t think that it is spirituality. Spirituality is the internal system that we need to depict in our minds and hearts. What we see in our five bodily senses gradually lose importance until they disappear.
