Increasing the Joy - Unity Day for Purim March 23, 2024.

Lesson 2: The End of Correction.

Reader: (0:03) Hello to everyone, we are in a unity day for the holiday of Purim. We are increasing joy. We are in the second lesson, the second lesson is called The End of Correction. All of those who want to, you can find the study material on our website or the Arvut system. If you want to ask a question in the Arvut system you are welcome to put up a question mark, so our lesson is touching the end of correction.

M. Laitman: (0:48) Yes, well, what was prepared for us?

Reader: Excerpt 1. (01:00) “This is the day which…”

M. Laitman: (03:15) We're coming closer to this. And we're truly in a straight line towards this. When we will get there depends on us only, only on us. So we need to see whether each and every one of us is aimed towards this, whether one has a clear goal towards this for there cannot be the end of correction which is a degree that brings us outside of this world, to a world, to the upper world and let's hope that we will reach this at any possible given moment. On behalf of the Creator, of course there is no detaining here, there is no preventions; rather it all only depends on us and we will try. Just as we saw ourselves also in the morning lesson and in all the activities until this current lesson, we have forces, we have understanding, we have everything and now it all depends on us, just the desire. You see how much we built, how much we've done. It's all for us so that we will come to the end of the path, to the goal. Let's hope that it will happen in the upcoming time, the near. Questions?

Student: (05:54) [Not heard]

Reader: It's hard to hear. He's asking about expecting something. Sorry, I didn’t hear the question.

M. Laitman: (06:12) All the Kabbalists that were in our world lately, are talking about us being in the era of the end of correction, the last generation, just like Baal HaSulam talked about it and therefore, we should have no doubt in the fact that everything is ready from above and only depends on us. And we need to understand that all the so-called detainments that are happening are only in order to hasten ourselves even more towards correction. Let's influence one another, strengthen one another, and this is how we will advance. Yes.

Student: (07:25) My question is will we see wondrous things? Will we see something that it doesn't perceive in our reality? Or are we the ones who need to build this step by step slowly?

M. Laitman: No, we need to rise to the same degree which is above this world. That's actually our work. It's not that we're drawing it towards us or attracting it to us, we rise to it, to that degree of the end of correction.

Student: It depends on us?

M. Laitman: It depends on us, yes, it depends on us. There is no time for this.

Student: There is no hocus pocus?

M. Laitman: I think it itself is above all the regular reality, so, it's hocus pocus. Yes, focus hocus pocus. I think that we are in a special generation, a special time where actually everything is open. Okay?

Student: (08:58) Rav, all my efforts to connect with the friends in the Ten, to pray to the Creator, on each one of these efforts the Creator sends me states not to do it. On the one hand I need to justify the Creator with every state that I receive, on the other hand to fight against the Creator, that I do not agree that He sends me states that are against the connection, against the Ten, I need to go against. But against the Creator in essence, because He's the one who sends the states. So, how do we settle these two states?

M. Laitman: We're constantly receiving from the Creator, some states upon which we need to come closer to the goal, that's actually our work. So everything that we see before us, we need to understand that these are conditions for our advancement and we shouldn't have any other thought, rather only in order to come to our goal and the Creator arranges for us such things so that one after another, in all these degrees we will reach the end of correction. It's not many things, it's not far. Certainly, it is on the other side of nature but this is actually what we have to go through. We need to move from in order to receive in our nature, to in order to bestow the spiritual nature of the Creator and immediately we reach a state called the end of correction. Let's hope that soon we will succeed, it only depends on us. Okay?

Student: (12:16) In many places it is written that we need to believe, we need to have faith. It is written that we need to depict, how would you describe the end of correction? How do you depict in this world the end of correction? How does it appear to you?

M. Laitman: It's apparent that people are beginning to understand that we must reach wholeness. That we must come to a connection between us and this state will become permanent here and only get stronger and that's what needs to be. There isn't such a huge distance between this world and the end of correction. We are already in an adjacent degree to the end of correction. That's what Baal HaSulam and Rabash wrote about this a lot, therefore we will continue in this and see in what other ways we can shorten the path and make it faster. But the fact that we can gather in such a quantity in one place and in many more places, dozens of places around the world, this points to a worthy time for this. So let's hope that we are in proximity to this degree of the end of correction. Yes.

Student: (14:47) How to be in joy on the path? How to be in the Ten and work in the Creator, how to always be in gladness and how to face the difficulties that you have along the path with yourself, with your difficulties during your personal life, at work, at home, the difficulties with yourself?

M. Laitman: Yes, we need to receive it such that it comes from the same source. Just as the Creator wants to bring you closer to this correction, He's holding you, sustaining you, pushing you, even and with that, He's putting before you all kinds of obstacles so that you will learn how to overcome them and how to continue forward despite the fact that it appears to you as being against.

Student: The joy, how to keep the joy, have you got a few things to give us? From what the joy of the person comes? Where does it come from, how can he make himself be in more joy and in that way work and study in more joy?

M. Laitman: If a person is certain that he is going towards the greatest success and has several obstacles, small obstacles along the way, it does not lower the excitement from him.

Student: Focus on the goal?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: Okay, thank you.

M. Laitman: Okay, let's see our women.

Student: (17:06) Happy holidays to everyone, happy holidays to the people of Israel and the Creator who is receiving contentment from us now I'm certain. I want to ask about connection. We constantly talk about connection. What is connection, how to connect and I wanted to ask; when I come here at the beginning of the road I start to be excited, I see the guard who stands and I feel like I met my brothers that I haven't met for a long time. In general when I come into this place I feel confidence, security; I feel at home, feel to be me. I wanted to ask, is that what you call connection, is that connection and even people that I barely know, that only in the face I recognize a bit and it's like a magnet. They tell me Bnei Baruch and feel like a magnet. Is that connection, is that what we need to feel?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: Thank God. May everybody feel this.

M. Laitman: Yes, thank you very much.

Student: (18:35) I am blessing everyone and I’ve experienced a lot of sorrow. They killed and burned my brother in Russia, the same way  in Gaza and I saw a lot of difficulties and troubles. I wanted to know is this breaking in Israel, in what will it end, what will be on our children? I have a young daughter, she's in the army, she's in recruitment in reserve, sorry and from the beginning of the year and I cry for every soldier, I cry every day. I really respect you, I watch all your programs. Thank you so much and happy holidays to everyone. May you be well, that you'll have a lot of health and to all your family.

M. Laitman: I really hope that in the near future we will close all these not good events that are happening around us. Let's hope that we will manage to arrange things as they should be. God willing and with His help.

We have an urgent question from our ladies in Istanbul. Please.

Question: Istanbul (20:29) Dear Rav, what is the influence of sadness in this world when we are sad, how does this affect the spiritual world? When we are sad in this world, what is the influence of it on the spiritual world?

M. Laitman: It's not a good influence, because we are in the world of the Creator. And if we're sad it's a sign that we're not satisfied from what He did to us and how He is managing us, therefore we're not allowed to be sad. On the contrary, we should be drawn to joy, the more the better. And let's hope that we will sustain ourselves that way, even if we don't see before us reasons that are clear, that stand out for joy but we will think that we are in the world of the Creator and There's None Else Besides Him. And only He arranges for us all the steps before us and therefore we must be happy.

Student: (22:00) Thank you, Rav I hope I can make myself as clear as possible. I've got a lot of thoughts about, we hear your lessons and we really get nourishment from your lessons and we really appreciate you and everything that's involved but I wanted to know if a friend who is complaining about the teacher, why did we not come to the end of correction, why weren't we here? We can ask a question related to the lesson but to raise complaints to the teacher seems a bit strange. My question, shouldn't it be directed to the Creator? And you as a Rav that teaches us, it's even hard to express in words how much appreciation we have towards you but this thing I feel that it's very hard for me when you give your all, so what can we ask? I think the thing of coming with a complaint to our Rav, why haven't we reached it yet, why haven't we done this? The question is okay, it's legitimate. What does the Rav have to say about that?

M. Laitman: I am happy from that.

First of all it points to a certain closeness that there is between us. It's like children who first turn to their parents, that's one thing. The second thing is that it points to their desire, that they really want to see what's happening with them, what's the result from years of being on the path and not seeing the goal. They're not reaching it. Maybe they see but not to the extent in which they're truly coming closer to it. Therefore, I think that it's good. It's actually good.

Student: Many times you say when a person asks a question, you say, ask, ask the Creator. Only through that in a cry out, in a deep cry out you can receive what you want. So is it alright that we are asking of you as well? Is that what I understood?

M. Laitman: Yes, yes, also from me, also from the Creator. Of course it's all good. Just not to sit quietly and agree with the situation.

Student: Thank you very much.

M. Laitman: The lady over there.

Student: (25:34) Rav, I'm very honored to be here with you, we love you from the bottom of our hearts and we say thank you for every moment and second that we are able to come to you.

I have two questions, with your permission and if you will allow me, I will thank you from the bottom of my heart. The first question regards a couple. Not long ago you were in the channel Karma and my connection is a total connection but I've received a complete rejection from the partner. My question is, should I stick to my partner and continue the partnership? The second question, I've been keeping Shabbat since my son became Orthodox and this is the first time that I come to you on Shabbat and my question to you is, what is allowed and what isn't? Thank you.

M. Laitman: I can't tell you in one sentence what is permitted and what's not. Now I relate all together to the observance of commandments and the Sabbath. You need to learn, you need to think, and it's all been given to you to understand and feel and to learn and to decide. But undoubtedly, come closer to the son, you do need to and that's how everything will work out.

Student: (27:37) You said at the beginning of the lesson that when we will bring contentment to the Creator, we will reach the end of correction. Now I understand that when we will give contentment to the Creator, then the spirit of the Creator will rest forever. That means there is no more Creator and we go back to the beginning and a new cycle of creation?

M. Laitman: Did I say it that way?

Student: No, you said that when we will bring contentment to the Creator, at that time we will reach the end of correction.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: And then we will bring contentment to the Creator?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: I don't understand what is contentment, I don't understand it?

M. Laitman: Well, we need to learn, we need to read what the Kabbalists write to us about that, that we are close to it. That's it.

Student: (29:03) Hello, Rav and friends. Humanity, in order to reach the end of correction will have to go through some sort of a transformation as Baal HaSulam writes, spiritual communism, or will it be elevated all at once?

M. Laitman: Yes it will have to change its nature.

Student: (29:35) May everyone be blessed. Towards the end of correction, it was said that there is no joy as removing the doubts and wiping the memory of Amalek. What is the state that the state of end of correction is weak and the doubts attack the person? And the other question that the friend asked, what is my help to the friends when the friends are a little bit drunk?

M. Laitman: A little drunk is very fine. This is Purim, that's on one hand. On the other hand, I don't think that it can stop our advancement towards the end of correction. We are on the path and undoubtedly, day after day, we're coming closer to it. What we need is to connect even more, and even more be drawn towards that point, which is the end of correction. And when a friend feels that his desire to work at that moment in the Ten is very weak, he has a doubt which way to even go. What is the correct relation in regards to the doubts that arises, not just him, to everyone? What is the correct attitude towards the doubts?

M. Laitman: I think that all those doubts are so that we will hurry ourselves and continue forward. And that's the reason these doubts appear before us. Therefore we will move forward and succeed.

Student: (31:54) Dear Rav, I've heard that joy is a condition and love is a force. How do we reflect the light of this force that we received from Bnei Baruch?

M. Laitman: We give it back to who?

Student: To the Creator?

M. Laitman: We receive what, from our connection? Probably, that's what he means. That from our connection we receive forces. With this force of connection we turn to the Creator and ask or even demand from Him to advance us to an eternal and spiritual connection.

Student: Second question, humanity doesn't have love but they don't realize they don't have love, they’re thinking they’re well off in that way. What should we do, how do we bring them to correction though the path of Torah?

M. Laitman: As long as we get closer to those who do want the correction of the world and the end of correction and after we come closer. The steps that we're coming closer to the end of correction, then the illumination from that, the light from that will impact all of humanity and more and more people will join, and this is how we will all get there. Yes.

Student: (34:04) Thank you so much for the opportunity to ask again. The question is, now the more I continue and advance on the path in every meeting and in every gathering that we make I feel more connection, the emotion is deeper and stronger but on the other hand, even between the meeting I feel the distance also stronger. How to correctly accept, receive this amplitude? I feel that this extremity of this state, I feel it. And how to receive the encouragement or should I look for the middle state or continue like that?

M. Laitman: The middle state is not good. It's always zero. So we need to actually continue and to agree only with connection. Extreme connection between us and no less and no different. None other. Try to place yourself in this state and you will feel that you have the strength to make a step forward.

Student: Hello, Rav. Happy holiday to you and to all of Israel. We have a question from the Ten. Does everyone come to the end of correction separately or does everyone come to it at the same time?

M. Laitman: I haven't been in this with the whole collective that I can answer with certainty to this question. But it seems to me like it comes in stages. Altogether we need to advance and to ask and demand from the Creator to connect between us. And to the extent in which He connects between us, we are drawn forward. This is how we are incorporated in the state called the end of correction. So let's not think that there's another method other than connection. And the end of correction is actually when the connection reaches a state that it is impossible to do anything else and we can depict that and even implement it.

Student: (38:00) Rav, I find myself a lot with gratitude to the Creator, gratitude that He brought me here, gratitude that He woke me to the morning lesson. I don't know how to connect it to joy. How does gratitude connect to joy?

M. Laitman: This may be your attributes, your characteristics that brings you down this way. But I don't think there's room for sadness, I don't think so. We're living in a time that's not simple, but in a time that we're advancing to corrections. And if we look at our history, we can see that our state is much better than it was in the previous generations. This is why as Rabash writes, we will get stronger and we will go and succeed.

Student: I am completely not sad Rav, but I know what it means to be grateful and to say thank you for everything that we receive but joy comes to me from other things. I am happy about other things. I want to connect it with this gratitude and the spiritual joy. I can be happy with a wedding or something like that but I want to be happy from being grateful?

M. Laitman: Think about it more.

Student: (40:12) Can we be in joy and in gratitude at the same time?

M. Laitman: Yes, it's possible to be in a deficiency and joy at the same time.

Student: (40:36) If the correction is within me and outside me it's all an illusion, so why do we need the environment, the Rav, the books? If we really need the environment then what should be my internal work?

M. Laitman: To correct myself, I need the whole world because precisely in this way, it will influence me and I will, on top of what is happening I will change it.

Student: (41:34) Dear Rav, it's a painful question. If within the relationship there is no joy what are we meant to do?

M. Laitman: Pray, pray. We think that it's possible to somehow glide above it but actually try prayer. In the most unsuccessful relationship, try it and you'll see how much it changes things, it does.

Student: The relationship moves me away from spirituality?

M. Laitman: Look, maybe it will be the opposite.

Student: I pray all the time?

M. Laitman: Okay, I heard you but I'm telling you nevertheless, keep praying and scrutinize exactly what it is you need and what you're praying for and what you are expecting to happen. I don't think that we've exhausted all the means we have in prayer. A prayer to the Creator, when a person persists with it, when he really wants to reach his goal there is no greater force than this, no greater force than this. Try not to let go but keep on nagging and do whatever you can so the Creator doesn't leave you.

Student: (44:09) In regards to what you spoke about I wanted to ask, what is the difference between prayer and a request that now we're in this state and in the Ten? How do we do it now, powerfully in order to reach the end of correction?

M. Laitman: Powerfully can be a person's outcry to the Creator, like he's in the desert. An outcry can be between a person and the Creator as if he's turning to Him with his last force, his last bit of strength. There are many such states but it has to be from the bottom of the heart. Try to work in this way and you'll see that you'll succeed.

Question (Ekaterinburg): (45:40) A question about the excerpt, it was said that each will understand that there is no greater joy to bestow contentment upon one's Maker. The thing is that I think more about corporeal pleasures than giving contentment to the Creator. How can we make it the main thing, that everybody will reach that?

M. Laitman: We need to think more before we turn to the Creator and when we turn, we need to see what answer we get in our hearts. Don't deceive yourselves, don't fool yourselves, we have to learn how to do it.

Question (Piter 3): (47:24) We’re not just us here in Piter, all the World Kli has gathered in order to celebrate the holiday of the Creator. How do I check that the friend really, truly celebrates this holiday, that his heart is in joy that he is in such a state because externally he can't express himself that way, but how does he do it internally?

M. Laitman: How can I be certain that the friend's heart is like my heart directed toward the same correction and the same goal? Because through the correction I want to reach it. This comes to us from experience, from working together and turning day in and day out, and day in and day out and receiving a response from the Creator and connecting again and coming again and moving forward again. Out of this we reach the goal.

Reading: (48:58) Excerpt 2. “The end of correction of the souls…”

Student: (50:41) You say that we are moving toward the end of correction. It's felt that through the connection we are being transformed. It's true that first we have to cross the barrier and then we continue toward the end of correction, but do you recommend and is it good to ask the Creator to cross the barrier? Because when we connect in the Ten, through our connection, in that connection we are aiming our thoughts.

M. Laitman: Of course, of course you should, you should ask from the Creator anything that we have along the way. The nearest act on our spiritual path is to shift from in order to receive to in order to bestow. For this we pray, this is what we ask, this is what we check, and this is how we continue.

Student: I just want to be more precise. It's true after crossing the barrier we'll be able to be bestowers, to feel that yes, I'm doing an action and in my thought from the Ten we're bestowing, and that's not our imagination?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: (52:23) I have such a question, the end of correction, there's a state where all of us are like one man in one heart, we come to the quality of bestowal, right?

M. Laitman: Well, you can say so.

Student: I feel like I'm very far from it simply and the more time passes I feel more distant but my friends from the Ten and the entire world Kli, I feel them the opposite, so close to another step and they're there. What am I? What could I, as such an egoist, from such a lowly place, do so that all those who are truly close will be able to take that final step?

M. Laitman: Help them.

Student: How?

M. Laitman: Be together with them, connect to them and direct them toward it. Push them, push.

Student: Through prayer?

M. Laitman: Through prayer, through all kinds of efforts, yes.

Student: (54:02) I want to ask, I heard you say earlier that we still haven't exhausted all the means for prayer.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: What does it mean to exhaust all the means, all the means for prayer and we reach it?

M. Laitman: A prayer is called the work in the heart. Did we do the work in the heart that will bring all the friends, all our friends closer into one place, to being directed together to connection between us and from this connection directed toward the Creator? Did we do this? Let's think, let's even imagine what we still need to do.

Student: How can a person check himself if he did this work to bring all the friends closer to aim them at the Creator?

M. Laitman: At least according to what we can depict to ourselves.

Student: We are in a lesson called touching the end of correction. This touching, what does it depend on our ability to touch it, to taste it? What is it?

M. Laitman: Our desire.

Student: What is our desire for the end of correction?

M. Laitman: I want to be connected to all my friends and to be together with them in one heart, in one force, so much so that there is no distance whatsoever between us and we all become one body that is directed entirely toward the Creator and doesn't agree to any less than that.

Student: In this moment that you’re touching the end of correction are you aware of it? Is it something that you are conscious of it, I’m touching the end of correction?

M. Laitman: As much as I can depict it to myself, as much as I can depict it to myself.

Student: If you can define for us that moment, how should a person be aimed, what does he do exactly?

M. Laitman: I need to be with all my friends, to be adhered to the Creator and to not agree to anything less than that.

Reading: (57:37) Excerpt 3. “And I will remove the …”

M. Laitman: (59:44) This is a little confusing. Basically there is nothing worse than Haman but we see that the light of the end of correction corrects the entire vessel, all the desires that exist in the created being into a state where there is nothing more to do, only to connect, to unite and bless.

Student: (01:00:30) You are talking about the end of correction where all the desires remain and we learned from the article of Rabash that you have to erase Amalek, he will not make it to the end of correction?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: What is this Amalek in the Ten? Where does he exist between us? How does he exist?

M. Laitman: We have to discover this desire that there is in us, it's a kind of desire that cannot be corrected.

Student: Rabash writes that in order to wipe out Amalek you have to remember Amalek.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: When we are in the portion of Zachor, remember, I want to ask the holy audience and Rav if I can read this excerpt from the portion of Zachor?

M. Laitman: Read it.

Reading: (01:01:30) Amalek will come and wage war on Israel and Rephidim and Yeshua will say select people for us and go fight Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the staff of God in my hand and as God commanded us to go fight Amalek. And Moshe and Aaron went up to the top of the hill and as Moses raises his hands and Israel will overcome and when he lays his hands down Amalek will overcome and the hands of Moses are heavy and they will take a rock and Moses will sit on it and Aaron will support Moses' hands on both sides. And his hands were up until the sun went down and Yeshua weakened Amalek and God told Moses write this down as a memory in the book and put it in the ears of Yeshua that I will wipe the memory of Amalek from under the heavens. And Moses built an altar and called it the Creator my Miracle because the hand on the throne of the Creator a war and Amalek for the Creator from generation to generation.

Student: (01:03:10) In the excerpt that we read, the lights of Purim through a miracle can shine and change the intention from reception to bestowal if I understood correctly the excerpt, the last one we read?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: We are learning for years, doing connection, we pray and then on Purim there could be a miracle that can do it for us?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: (01:03:50) From the friend who asked about the two extreme states we're going in the connection between us, I heard you say that the state, the middle line, is the zero state and that we shouldn't stay in it or be in it at all. I understand that extremes make us act but I thought that the middle state, the state of contentment of joy, is a desirable state. Can you please explain and clarify what you said?

M. Laitman: No, not now, no no. I don't see it as something special or delighting or we need to learn it, otherwise we'll be confused like you are.

Student: (01:05:13) The question is from the previous excerpt, the resurrection of the dead, does it mean that the desire to receive that we put down now will be revealed in the end of correction in the corrected way and then we'll be able to reveal the good and the light?

M. Laitman: That too.

Question (Kyiv): (01:06:05) How can we get that impression that if everything is possible, how to bring it into life?

M. Laitman: I don't understand, I don't understand their question. Repeat, please repeat, I didn't hear it.

Student: She’s saying that there is a feeling that everything is possible. How to take that feeling and realize it between us?

M. Laitman: We need to realize it between us because everything is possible, we need to demand from the Creator. For example, the final correction, we can demand from the Creator a current correction for now.

Question (Vienna): (01:08:24) For me it is really an amazing time, meeting new friends so close to our countries. I don't know any of you as well as I would like to but I pray that we will unite and know each other really more and we are trying to build, and we are building a Hisaron to make a nice central Europe Congress. We are praying for this and doing our best for this. And our question or my question is, we have multiple desires in our heart and we understand them. Is it better, or is the correct way to work, to focus and build one desire in our heart or is it possible to make and pray for multiple desires in our heart, with the desire in our heart?

M. Laitman: Of course, it is better if we can join all of our questions, our requests, our goals into one and for that one, the one question, the one goal, to pray. Of course, it would be more successful but at least for each one, we can also pray and make corrections.

Student: (01:10:39) We came here with the intention for a miracle and the end of correction. For me, to be here is a miracle, to be with you and all the friends is already the end of correction. My question is, how is this Congress changing the face of a country and of humanity and is bringing us closer in Achishena to the end of correction and the Creator?

M. Laitman: To the extent that we pray and want to pull everyone, all of us, all our friends from all over the world into one central point, according to this we will succeed.

Student: Meaning we need to pray now so that all the friends will be in the center point right now?

M. Laitman: Yes, of course.

Student: So we'll pray, all of us.

Student: (01:11:51) It seems like you built your life's project here and you're investing all of you in here, in us. It seems like you're not reaping fruit from us. I wanted to ask if we're giving you contentment somehow?

M. Laitman: Somehow, yes.

Student: How can we give you more contentment?

M. Laitman: It's not to me. Turn to the Creator. What do I need?

Student: You’re a conduit to the Creator?

M. Laitman: Okay, but it all depends on you. Only when you are together and closer to the Creator and turn to Him and demand from Him, then you will change and by this, I too will be closer to you and to the Creator.

Song.

Reading: (01:16:25) Excerpt 4. “At the end of correction…”

M. Laitman: (01:17:58) Meaning all the states, when we come to the end of correction they all unite and become as one big day, eternal.

Student: (01:18:38) I want to go back to the previous excerpt on the matter of Moses who lifted his arms and Israel overcame and when he lowered it, it lost. What caused him to raise his hands and to lower his hands? Is it him or the Creator and how can we use this trick perhaps?

M. Laitman: Nice trick. When I'm connected to it I'll tell you.

Reading: (01:19:37) Excerpt 5. “Before the end of correction,…”

Student: (01:22:37) This congress is a short one, it's one day. I don't even know how to ask this?

M. Laitman: Ask however you can.

Student: It's a question and a request, not to miss out on this day. Give us the strength, give us advice on how to break through, forward? How to draw the light of Hassadim that we just heard about in this excerpt?

M. Laitman: Yes. We can do it in one hour as we say and not stretch it out.

Student: (01:23:52) To continue with that, what is this light Rav? A friend asked about the light, what is this light?

M. Laitman: A force, a force that lets us perform acts of bestowal.

Student: Why is it called light? How is it related to light?

M. Laitman: Because it's like as Kabbalists say, it's like the light of the sun, the light of the intellect, but that's how they call it.

Student: To what is this light most similar here in this world?

M. Laitman: To nothing.

Student: We often learn that the first feeling is called Nefesh, Nefesh of Nefesh, the first feeling of that light, the sensation of that light. Here we're talking about the end of correction already, there must be a slight difference?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: We only want the slightest, smallest light. Look at how your children want this feeling, the smallest light?

M. Laitman: Yes, I hear you. Well?

Student: Maybe in a Congress many years ago you said, let's feel. We had two minutes of silence. I don't know what you did there, this shock and people felt what they felt. Maybe it's time we do it again?

M. Laitman: No.

Student: No?

M. Laitman: It's unrealistic for me to ask. For you to ask, that's something else but not for me to ask for you, instead of you.

Student: (01:26:10) You said, I heard you say that our nearest action is to shift from in order to receive to in order to bestow. I wanted to ask, is this the blotting out of Amalek?

M. Laitman: We're also belonging to that.

Student: Is it something that is in front of us and we can do?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: How do we come to a desire for it?

M. Laitman: By prayer.

Student: Is this prayer done only in the Ten or can it be done on a larger scale?

M. Laitman: Yes, we can do it with a greater number of people.

Student: Should we scrutinize it? How do we see the bad, the evil that the intention to receive is causing us? How do we come to see it?

M. Laitman: This is called recognition of evil. Yes, we need to ask the Creator to give it to us and give us the opportunity to see it.

Student: If the Congress is about increasing joy, so how do we do it joyfully?

M. Laitman: Yes, joyfully it's even easier.

Student: To reveal the bad?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: Is this the act we need to do right now?

M. Laitman: Yes, yes.

Student: (01:28:17) I have a question from a long time ago. How is it possible to distinguish between my desire to help a person, to bring him to a state of joy, to change his situation and the help of the Creator to a person through me and not do harm?

M. Laitman: That's impossible. When it comes, you'll see, you'll see how it works.

Reading: (01:29:00) Excerpt 6. “It is impossible to receive…”

Student: (01:31:51) The nation went through a difficult time this year. Sometimes I feel like I don't feel all of a sudden like I'm helping the nation, like I'm doing something for the people although I see that many people are doing. I don't feel like I'm doing any kind of mercy to the people that I'm trying to do something, to change, to improve, to help people who experienced this tough year. It's like I'm a little selfish here. I'm saying, why am I not trying to help them, why am I not trying to do something for the people of Israel? Because now we are at a difficult time when everyone must be united and each one has to do something to help. Sometimes I find myself a little selfish. I'm not exactly merciful towards my own people, so I don't feel good about it. What can I do? What can be done to help the nation in such a difficult time?

M. Laitman: What we learned, only to attract the people to Purim.

Student: Meaning to try to be in joy on Purim?

M. Laitman: No, no, just superficial joy, to reach a state where we would want to be connected together.

Student: With the help and through the connection I contribute to the strengthening of my people?

M. Laitman: Yes, but the main thing is connection.

Student: (01:34:12) A technical question, we're sitting here, some of us are dozing off, some of us are not concentrating and all of a sudden the whole situation changes. A person becomes alert and extremely concentrated, everything has changed. To what can we attribute it?

M. Laitman: I guess there is a Manager from above who is playing with us like this.

Student: It's really felt very strongly.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: (01:35:10) What is the difference on Purim? If I understand correctly from the excerpt, that we are working in a very orderly way until now. We distinguish between Mordechai and Haman and at the end what is required of us is to cancel everything, to cancel this concern completely about self-scrutiny and simply to do this annulment and connection to the Manager?

M. Laitman: We need to try and make a scrutiny about what is discussed regarding Purim and later we will see what we will receive as a result of that.

Student: What is special specifically about Purim that he writes that there is a light that works not as usual?

M. Laitman: It is the light of the purpose of creation. The light of Purim is the light of the purpose of creation and we need to try and draw it and receive it and use it.

Student: (01:36:45) First question, is Purim a specific date in the year? Can revealing the light of Purim happen in December or April or is it related to this date?

M. Laitman: I have no idea.

Student: Okay, a different question. This convention since the morning, at least the way I feel it, is very serious. There’s a feeling of heaviness and importance and it feels good to me and correct, appropriate. On the other hand, I look around and there are tons of people, tons of bodies with one common intention but at least the way I feel it, which really means nothing, our view is kind of dispersed. We can't really be directed together straight to the Creator. Some of the texts today that talk about the end of correction, create in me confusion because the end of correction is so far away and I wonder, should we imagine ourselves at the end of correction? It feels to me like 200 degrees above our place. Or maybe we should try to imagine the next one or two degrees so we can assemble, and the force that is in us will really be finally implemented, carried out.

M. Laitman: I didn't understand the question.

Student: The question is, should we imagine the group at the end of correction even though it's very far away, almost indecipherable, or should we imagine the next one or two degrees?

M. Laitman: The way we learn, read, our influence by what Rabash and Baal HaSulam wrote for us. They write about it quite simply, seemingly. We understand that in the Wisdom of Kabbalah it can't be simple on the one hand, but on the other, we nevertheless wish to feel it, to come to it. That's all I can say to you.

Student: My next question is from the Ten, I think it's related. How do we awaken the love between us now to take the force within us and bring us closer to our correction here in the Bnei Baruch group and to our correction perhaps in relation to the entire nation? Do you have anything to tell us?

M. Laitman: Yes. The connection is done only through concessions, concessions, so try to see the desirable state where you are annulled, let's say in your group. To such an extent that you can't imagine a greater connection than what you have, and then you'll succeed.

Student: (01:40:48) You said before that prayer has to be from the bottom of the heart?

M. Laitman: That's how it's written.

Student: How do we reach this depth, this bottom?

M. Laitman: How do we reach the bottom, the depth of the heart? By digging, digging, just like you're digging a hole. Something like that, digging deeply and then you reach the depth of the heart.

Student: (01:41:26) What is the miracle that was done because of the fasting and the outcry?

M. Laitman: That's the state of Purim, that's all I can say.

Student: (01:41:53) To continue the questions of the friends, especially the friend’s question from 15 minutes ago. I want to ask what's stopping us after all the appearances of Haman and Amalek in our country? Here and now, to unite and to cry out to the Creator, here?

M. Laitman: Yes, I too agree with you that we must, each and every one of us, must turn to his own heart and seemingly hold it by the hand and serve it to all the friends. And in this way we succeed, this must happen.

Reading: (01:43:34) Excerpt 7. “At the end of correction,…”

Student: (01:47:06) We heard you say that we can finish the correction in an hour, we can reach the end of correction in one hour?

M. Laitman: That's how it's written.

Student: Yes, and I think everyone who came here and everyone who is with us all over the world are dedicated friends and they really want this to happen.

M. Laitman: I also want it.

Student: I think the question from all the friends is what is the inner outcry, the inner thing we can all do together, not just the Ten but all the tens and ask, and whatever the Creator decides, He'll decide, but we want to ask. What can be our request?

M. Laitman: Even though it's written that we can ask and demand and reach immediately the end of correction, everything works according to the order of the degrees. Therefore, as much as we want, it's like little children, we can't jump ahead. Rather we need to continue patiently. We are now entering actions of inner correction, inner actions, and in each and every one serious corrections, gradual corrections and let's hope, I am actually certain, that this will advance us toward a state that has never before been in the world. We are capable of demanding these corrections. So I'm asking, we received these past few days here the power for certain advancement, a certain recognition of our state. Let us now decide that indeed we have before us another portion where we need to find ourselves in a higher degree. I am certain that we are capable of doing it, you are ready for it. Just come together even more, demand even more.

Student: First of all, thank you very very much to our Rav.

M. Laitman: Thank you. I'm very grateful to you that you came here and we rejoiced together. We discovered nevertheless how our powers are not meager, we are in connection and we have what to aim ourselves and succeed. Let's succeed.
